It is always interesting to me how for these gifted people, such as Sierra, they are good enough to play professionally even on an instrument which isn’t their main one.

Dear God, this recording is absolutely fantastic! I attend Tommy’s guitar camps each year and I’ve had the privilege of being with him one on one. I guess Tommy and his music have filled of huge portion of my retirement days. And now to hear him playing with Jerry Douglas is absolutely fantastic.

I’ve been to a couple of Tommy’s guitar camps and have been up close and personal. I also play this song, the Duke, but will never get it the way he plays it. And in this video, he is playing it beautifully! He also looks a bit tan! 😊

I was on the rail for this one. When it started to rain and everyone ran away, Shovels and Rope said that they would stay as long as we did. And I never moved.

It's not overly difficult to start with, the first minute is straightforward, it's just really awkward to play and remember. It's one of those rare songs where I'll need to see the sheet music several times and still get lost
