I was born in China and currently I Iive in Canadian. I just ordered an excavator from China, and since I could speak Chinese, I have many advantages in communicating with suppliers. However, I still encountered a lot of traps. Please check out my detailed video I made on my channel. If you're looking to buy anything from China via sea freight, you can avoid losing a lot of money from this sea freight process, I guarantee you won’t regret watching my video!

Dont forget about import and customs fees ontop of buying factory direct. Then getting it shipped from the port to your location is another cost

Turn the bucket hyd ram around so the hoses come out the back. The 90 degree fittings point the hoses up. Just have to zip tie them so they don't snag the bucket mount when tilting or crowding. I just installed one on my 1.5 or 1t or? ;) t and need to fine tune where the hoses are best placed.

I have heard one can ship door to door and avoid some hassle and maybe port charges. Sounds like you always need a broker to pay custom fees. So can the broker arrange shipping to the customer door? Seems like if you live far away from the port that'd make even more sense. I live right by the port of Portland but still have heard door to door can have advantages. Thanks to anyone who can answer this!

i got a used sany sy16 for 17k. it has a yanmar diesel and expandable tracks. also it when i got it, it had 2 years left on the warrenty. i dont understand how this machine is worth it. 15.5 without warrenty and sany is day and night quality wise. i suggest looking on local classifieds.

For that price just buy it locally, or auction. Unless you’re getting something unique and other attachments at the same time. Otherwise, it’s not worth your time, effort, and money to buy a single unit overseas. Lots have changed since the publication of this video.

@dfk8881
@dfk8881 7 ай бұрын
@@jasonyeh99 Hi, Jason. I don't know how I missed this video of yours. Since that machine has pilot controls, you have TWO relief valves to set properly. Interesting how that particular unit uses a remotely-mounted RV. The other machine I adjusted had them both attached to the main valve stack. I may have mentioned that when we last spoke on the phone. As for the leaking wheel motor seals, others report that failure, probably due to dirty, unfiltered oil. You may be able to just replace the seal. I do have a couple of spare wheel motors here, if you need them.

I guess sometimes you get unlucky with these cheap machines. How is your landscape buddy holding up Jason? How many hours? It's great you are sharing both positive and negatives about these machines so people understand what they are getting themselves into. I know someone else on another channel had a leaking drive motor and it was just an o-ring problem. So I guess it never hurts to open it up.

@jasonyeh99
@jasonyeh99 Жыл бұрын
The Chinese machines all use metric nuts and bolts. I don’t know for sure but I would guess the hydraulic ram uses a compression fitting with M12 or M14 thread. That’s my guess… Have a great day!!
