These stories are heart wrenching. Miriam Davis was rescued by American Red Cross workers a couple of years after the genocide and sent to America in 1920. She married, settled in New Mexico with her husband, a professional photographer. She died in May, 2007 at age 98. This interview with her was filmed in 1992.

Bruce Fein - associate Dep. AG and general counsel of the Federal Communications Com-mission under Pres. R. Regan, specialize in constitutional international law - VERBATIM: “It has no legal significance, it is a political statement, a confession by Mr. Biden, the Congress and by the Armenians that they have no legal case to make. The genocide convention which entered into force in 1951, Article 9 stipulates that any dispute arising under the convention as whether genocide or not, shall be taken to International Court of Justice in the Haque. 70 years of silence on the Armenians side because no legal case exists. They resorted to political donations to get political power and political statements. I have no doubt that Mr. Biden has not taken any serious investigation on what the genocide convention means, what are the elements of genocide, what transpired in 1915. Does he ever read European Court of Human Rights decision in 2015 stating there has not been any proven Armenian genocide, it is historical event that does not land on any conclusion. I believe it would have been far more sensible for Mr. Biden to urge Armenia use its right under Article 9 as the jus-tice has been waiting for 70 years. Politicians are motivated with political moves, not historical facts. Justin Mc Carty says why Armenians are keeping their own achieves closed if they have a case, we assume that they have ready to present. Let’s use Armenians own statements in 1919, Feb 26 in Paris Peace Conference when they repeatedly say they we were offered autonomy by the Sultan but rejected to be loyal and enlisted to fight enemies of Ottoman Empire. Armenians also acknowledged that they became belligerents and Ottoman Turks died in the same proportion as Ottoman Armenians in the arisen conflict. I think Turks should approach the International Court of Justice under Article 9 and saying that they are being injured with the false allegations to reach at least a judicial resolution.”

Is there anyone talking about the Armenians that killed the Kurdish pregnant woman in the south-east region of Turkey in 1915 and bet his friend if the baby is a boy or a girl? That was why Turkish people came to the region and banished Armenians out of Anatolia!
@HopefulInterventions2 жыл бұрын
Stop your dirty lies you fool! Armenians didn’t organize the extermination of an entire race! The Armenian genocide is a well documented historical fact. Kurds participated in killing the Armenians by obeying the orders! For example, Women, men, and children were tied up and thrown into Van Lake and slaughtered. Go research the archives to learn more about the Kurdish involvement even though, we only blame the Ottoman Turks. Shame on you!

The U.S. government is with the Illuminati, not most of the American people. Most Americans agree the U.S. government committed genocide against the American Indians (Native Americans). If Americans can recognize the U.S. is guilty of butchery, as well as the Germans against the Jews and the Rwandan Hutu vs. the Tutsi then the Turks can culp up to their slaughter of not only the Armenians, but the Greeks as well as well as the NDH Croats vs. the Serbs in WWII.

So you think the ottoman empire just gained a bunch of land to the east, all Armenians in turkey vanished, and a million Armenians just vanished from the face of the earth?

I get that you have a hard time telling the truth, either because you are brainwashed or just wanna believe the side of the story that you think is more pleasant sounding. I don't see what is so pleasant about humans dying! So which one of you prefer? Which one sounds like music to your ears? The thought of Armenians dying or the thought of Turks dying? Please just don't be an Erdogan, he's a big enough loser enough as it is without any of you encouraging him to be so!
@mamc198611 жыл бұрын
The documentary did say everyone else thinks its true and accepts it as so...except the Turks. Also your Taalat Pasha is the reason behind why so many Turks died in combat with the Brits and Arabs! He, Enver and Jemal were very crappy military leaders and strategists! Can you at least admit to that, if so then its a start! I will give you that!
@mamc198611 жыл бұрын
I wanna be the one to say, that yes the truth has been out for almost a century now, just because most people don't talk much of it to this day doesn't mean it didn't happen. For those of you who say it didn't happen, you're not any different from Erdogan or that ex Iranian president (who denied the Jewish Holocaust constantly) The rest of the world knows about the Armenian Holocaust, its a very sinister event in World War 1.
@mamc198611 жыл бұрын
You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that Taalat Pasha's telegram was as real as can be. This info is only starting to come out into the wide open in Turkey, especially since the Turks have started migrating into Europe (for better opportunity I believe) and learned the truth from the Europeans themselves. As for Erdogan, he's pretty much the only one besides the government of Turkey and the unfettered nationalists in Turkey, who doesn't want the truth to come out.

Yes, I agree, the Armenians were outright slaughtered. I believe it was even worse than stated. Even now, the right to speak freely about this is denied in that country. The Muslims suffered too and because the world press did not care to publish it, as they did for the Armenians, their numbers now lie silent in their graves. You stated correctly and this depravity of man sewed other terrible seeds.

Yes, a very good reply. While I have shown a lot of Ottoman Turks also died in the run up to the Armenian debacle, the Armenians were not just seeking a better representation for themselves within the Ottoman society. Unfortunately, the Ottomans viewed them as a threat to their religious empire. Also, upon reviewing the various census methods at the time, I now believe the Armenian census count is low.

March 30 and April 2, 1918, The March Days refer to massacres of up to 12,000 Azerbaijanis Muslims that took place between in the city of Baku/adjacent areas of the Russian Empire with support of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation on one side and Azerbaijani Musavat Party on another, the events led to a suppression of Muslim revolt by Bolshevik and Dashnak forces. Azerbaijan officially refers to March Days as a genocide.

Re: Khojaly Massacre above, should read 2000 killed, not 12,000. Also, the Date is Feb 25-26, 1992. I will recheck for the March date 1918 event in my notes.

Yes, but it is estimated there were 4.4 million Muslims in the Ottoman zone of control in the Balkans at the turn of the century. 1 million left the Balkans in the last 3 decades of the 19th century. During 1912-1926, 2.9 million Muslims were killed/forced to emigrate to Turkey.
@wayne487msc12 жыл бұрын
Justin McCarty estimates from 1821-1922, 5.5 million Muslims were driven out of Europe and ~ 5 million were killed or died of disease/starvation while fleeing. Ethnic cleansing occurred as a result of the Serbian/Greek independence in 1820s-1830s, the Russo Turkish War (1877-1878) and the Balkan War (1912-1913). Mann describes the acts as 'murderous ethnic cleansing on a stupendous scale." See the Carnegie Endowment Report.

March 1918, 12,000 Azerbaijanis were massacred by ethnic Armenian armed forces under the command of the 366th Russian Rifle Regiment during the Khojaly massacre, a conflict over the Nargono-Karabakh region. There was no justification at all for this action. (As declared by Human Rights Center and Human Rights Watch and others).

On 14 May 1919, the British, American and French landed a Greek Army Division in Symrna. A general slaughter of the Turkish ensued. Greek gangs roamed the streets looting and killing. As the Greeks pushed into Anatolia, the local populations were killed, ravaged and raped. Johannes Kolmodin, a Swede living in Smyrna, wrote in his letters the Greek army burned 250 Turkish villages.

Yes, and also 10,000-30,000 Turks were killed along with the entire Jewish population in Tripolitsa by Greek rebels in 1821....later,300,000 , the entire Turkish peoples of Morea were expelled...In WW1, War of Turkish independence, ~ 2.5 million died in Anatolia. Many of the Muslims were killed by Armenians in Eastern Anatolia (Bayburt, Bitlis, Erzincan, Erzurum, kars and Mus) and by Greeks in Western Anatolia (Izmir, Manisa and Usak).

It seems as if it works extremely well for the context of there being a "genocide". Now if you believe that the Turks were that barbaric, then fine it is in your realm of possibility. Now just consider this... Where are the countless Turkish correspondences that confirm, respond to, and continue to keep Talat informed about the "extermination" process? There is just this one document that is just thrown out there.A main reason to why it is forged is because the encryption codes do not match up.

You are waisting your time and strength Yildizian. What makes you think that people have to believe that the Andonian papers are fake? It is sadly believable that you are in denial with yourself. Not to mention that that explains why the Turkish government is denial with its bloody past. No flames, please!

There are sincere people in all countries and the Turkish will be no exception but why, why, why are you denying this awful fact? You didn't carry it out. You are a new generation but the Turkish authorities should give the Armenian people their dignity, admit that it happened and apologise.

Also Turkey doesn't rule the world, the USA will no longer cover this up! We don't need Turkey to help us anymore, the Cold War is over, therefore Armenians are no longer under Soviet control! Its time to change, its time to come to terms with reality so that the world can be a better place to live! Turkish facist agresstion is making the world a worse place to live and I fear if the USA continues to cave into Turkish pressure, then they will get worse over time!
