We do need to be more diligent with our loved ones who rely on our care and, in the midst of exhaustion we still have to be a fierce advocate for them.

I watched the documentary and I will not call him “D man”. She took advantage of the whole family and used her enthusiasm and savior complex to push this false program and destroy that young man. She committed a crime with him-scratches from floor abrasions 😢😢and needed to be jailed for it-disgusting. The way she speaks of this and romanticizing such a sick situation is terrible.

If people visit or move to Mexico for the culture, there shouldn’t be an issue with the music and food. There are enough places that are already being gentrified.

As a parent, I welcome the questionnaire because it may be the only way a child can let someone know they are experiencing mental health issues like depression or if they are being abused. Sometimes parents don’t recognize that their kids are struggling mentally and it may take a dr to share that with them. The only way it kind of gets tricky is if the providers who are mandatory reporters, go to authorities without first contacting the parents and letting them know about that. As far as STDs etc. it’s important too because I remember reading a book about a young lady whose step father was abusing her and the mother didn’t believe her except that she contracted several STDs as a minor.
