My, that was good. World class good I'd say! I'd love to hear her Liszt, Chopin, and Beethoven. She's a true communicator at the piano. I can see why the "Curtis Inst PA." thinks so highly of her. I'm a big Jorge Bolet fan. Jorge was another masterful communicator. Truly a great pianist.

I've just watched as well as listened to Joseph Lin play Bach and couldn't but notice that the sound and image were not synchronized. If no one else has noticed and complained, I'll assume that the problem is at my end. But if it's at your end too, I hope you'll have it fixed in time for your next concert.

Nothing like good ‘ole fashioned coding with the 4 year old. I hope Grido is the background music for the coding project. :-)

exciting performance of Martinu (complete with an appreciative dog in background) and wonderful artist interview that gives a sense of these two talented people. Alles gute with your German, Jessica. And Daniel - my only criticism - is the mustache. Keep on playing beautifully, enjoying your 4 yr old and reading the New Yorker. So looking forward (fingers crossed) to hearing you play in Philly in December

Hilariously brilliantly scored. Perhaps not a cure but a palliative no doubt. Much thanks, EBH

Thank you, J & R! A lovely (mini-) concert. The fun you must have had putting it together definitely came through. Thanks also to Miles, for posting.

I was one of the lucky ones to attend this recital --one of several during a two week period that deeply probed the vocal music of the twentieth century, reaching beyond the standards to real discoveries. Sarah Shafer is a star that I have followed for several years, and was magnificent as usual. Douglas Williams was a new discovery for me -- a rich bass/baritone with the courage to sing, convincingly, songs that I always associated with Paul Robeson and William Warfield. A true pleasure.

achingly beautiful as she slowly and elegantly caresses the keys, as if she's stroking her new child

Brahms headed this lullaby to his sorrows: "Sleep softly, my child, sleep softly and well. It grieves me deep to see you weep." What a fellowship, what a joy divine, leaning on Brahms' comfort, Maestra Yang's mastery, and PCMS' generosity. Many thanks to all. Be well and safe.
