I remember first seeing The Beetles tribute band (The British Invasion) in Epcot in 2003. We also had a pint and fish and chips. Was really nice back then to sit out eating and drinking watching the band. 🇬🇧

The rapids originally got purchased brand-new by The mellors group in 2004 it then travelled around for a little bit then got rented out too light water Valley for those years then mellors got it back refurbished it and brought it to fantasy Island Here’s a little fact about it for you it’s the same footprint as a standard layout spinning coaster as the person who designed the spinning coaster also designed the rapids

Same thing happened to me on that ride in 2023. We rode it once, and then the kid wanted to ride it again. We were much further into the ride when it broke down. They had to get a ladder to help us exit the ride. It was really weird walking through it with all the lights on, but also cool to see how it was set up.
