Your perspective in videos is completely different from the other tutorials included in any other platform. You show us basics, saddle points of the topic. This is tremendous treasure I thankfully found. I'd be also interested your Catıa Tutorials which you explained Design Theory. Thank you! I wish all the best for you!

Great tutorial for new college students learning CATIA. Keep it neat stupid! Thanks...

Really wish they would combine the design and usability of SolidWorks with the functions and possibilities of CATIA. In SW I can´t even really flit the sketch in CATIA everything needs 10 clicks.

WTF is this ? Where are all the design symbols and the customization. Why did they move the function ribbon all the way down ? And the compass too ? WTF Dassault, you drunk Frenchman

Aaaaah I am going to miss the design tree and the booleans in CATIA, really unique in the industry of CAD software, no other CAD software has it the same way as CATIA

This ESC hookup on this video is not exactly correct. The reason why is the red/white/black connector's white wire is not the signal wire. The signal wire is the white one on the black/white connector. The black wire is the ground. This does not provide any power to the receiver. Plug the black/white connector into the throttle channel of receiver with black ground to ground side. Then plug in a 4.8v to 6.0v battery to receiver. The reason why he thought his receiver was BEC was because he had the red and black pins from the red/white/black connector plugged in. These acted like a battery plugged into receiver. I suppose you could use this safely as a BEC setup. This youtuber was fortunate to stumble on to this workaround but I wouldn't recommend plugging in wires haphazardly and risk frying an expensive ESC. Why T Motor doesn't document the proper hookup or the purpose of the other connectors is baffling.

it's incredibly powerful being able to create multiple part bodies, each with several operations and components making up that body. When making changes to one of the operations, only the body associated with it needs to be updated. That combined with the parent-child window style of searching through the part's history makes catia the best cad package. Do you know of any program that does something similar?

hey man i have a question maybe you can help ,my power window driver side is not working ,electronic shop swaped the relay for the window but it still doesnt work ,is there any other control of relay itself within the module that might prevent it from working even tough the new relay is put in, thanx in advance :)

Yeah, watching this footage ,the idle was not set for a start. When armed all the propellers should be spinning at the same speed when level and not enough to take off. If this drone was in flight and you put the throttle to minimum it would drop out of the air like a dead weight. If it is in angle mode then try tightening up the maximum angle point until all the props are spinning equally. Once it is able to hover then watch it's movements and look for resonances then play with PID's. The frame with all that suspension gear makes it heavier than it could be. Is the flight controller firmly fixed with shock absorbing supports and levelled to the frame? I couldn't see. All motors should be pulling from a single battery pack, not separate packs so that they are all receiving the same voltage. Any flex in the frame will allow the propellers to come out of alignment and the drone will go all over the place. I did not see a GPS antenna so I imagine it's a simple betaflight controller. I would recommend going upmarket on the controller to Pixhawk. The telemetry link alone is well worth it and saves you from having to plug a USB into it every time you need to change something. You can see every detail right on the screen remotely which is heaps safer. I really enjoy watching this stuff. It's scary as hell but so rewarding.

Wow. Nobody else on youtube has addressed this issue. When 3d printing we need to be able to parametrize clearances for parts that fit together and this might be the best way ! thank you for the video.

Thats cool man! I have accelerometers either go bad or just go out of whack on me a lot... always wanted to try this. Couldn't you do this with a gyro, or even a processor?

All the newest gyros come with built-in accelerometers.

Great video The yellow part has a common 5 hole pattern at the bottom. How do you link the power copy to each of those instances with parameters. For example, I want to modify the center hole diameter by making it a parameter. I want all 4 locations of that pattern to update when I update the single parameter. I've tried a few things but it always creates a new set of parameters for each new instance. I want all instances of the power copy to update when I change a single parameter.

What about removing the solder mask under the regulator as well as using the vias? And then you can apply thermal paste between the two metal surfaces?

I accidentally connected my 120V rated FR-301 to a 220V line and it stopped heating (pump still works thankfully). I inspected the PCB for damage and it looks ok. I guess the heating element died? it is 70 USD so I'm wondering if it can be repaired, could it?

Another quick tip, while you are doing measurements or creating drawings on top of the Edge Cut, you can click the ALT key while you are looking for a spot, and it snap to corners/measured corners or components for you. It really helps for making exactly straight drawings and measurements.

Good explanation on boolean operation, I was bit confused when getting errors while designing bodies boolean in catia. Could you please make a video on types of errors poups while doing boolean operation. Also could you tell me, why when I add/remove only empty add/ remove will be added in the tree leaving part body alone(not including under the add/remove command ).
