The selling point of these shoes (at least for me with street styles like jookin, flexin, generally gliding) loses its value in the face of having solid foundational skill in your dancing technique.

In case you care, the only way I can get rid of the smell for my other vegan dance shoes is to spray Lysol or other types of disinfecting spray inside the shoes first, then let it dry. Next spray shoe odor refresher and let it dry. This will keep the smell away for at least a month or two IF the socks you wear does not touch other shoes that has bacteria in it. Shoe odor refresher only gets rid of the smell for a brief period of time, but the disinfecting spray kills the bacteria inside that causes the smell. I have to do this with all my vegan dance shoes, otherwise the bacteria will quickly spread into my other none dance shoes as since i switch shoes before and after dancing. Thanks for your review though, I got my Fuego shoes today. May I also ask how often do you dance to get your shoes to this shape, and how long have you had this pair? Just wondering if I should get another pair as backup. Thanks

I do have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel so I may be trying the men's shoe instead of the women's shoe.
