Anita was so beautiful and had such a smooth voice... flawless!!! I wonder how she could make you love her... because I do and only after 2 days of listening to her?? I grew up listening to the Carter Family in Southern Virginia and never knew about her or really any of them. She was so special!! I liked Ann Wilson for years and still do, I thought Ann was the best by far and had other women out classed but Anita... wow!!! She was so great!! I really miss her and just wish I could have known her!!! I am her newest younger fan and I"m 61 years old this year... RIP and I"ll see you one day...

I understand she declined opportunity to become a more recognized star. She just wanted to be a member of the group and didn't want to stand out. There sure is a lot to be said for that but what a shame more folks don't know her great music.
