Have you tried the S/M size? I’m the same height and build as you and I too find the L/XL to have a bit more room than I’d like around the knee, but otherwise fits perfectly. Hesitant to go down a size though…

you made a two miss takes there are 22 channels that is true then comes the 121 privet codes BUT there not privet if I am less then a mile from you I still hear you as that is the average miles or line of site then 8 of the 22 channels are realy the off repeater channels for the 8 repeater channels which are 15 through 22 wih RPT means repeater channel's don't worrie your not the first or the last to do this I own a G M R S radio station so I come along and tighten up your false info from the company's building these radios this is how it work's call the company to see what thay say as to what you need to set up the radio for G M R S then you and your family have a 20 mile range with the radio you will be working off a radio tower near you good luck and have fun.

I find it hard to believe you went to Lago Atitlan from the border and passed up Quetzeltenango en route. Would have saved you all kinds of headaches!!! It was silly of you to do what you did!!! I have traveled extensively through Guatemala! Also did what you did, yet went to Quetzeltenango instead of Lago Atitlan, silly silly!!! And for all to know, YES, I rode my bike from Mexico to Guatemala and entered what looked like the same border I have crossed. I've crossed all but 1 Mx/Gt border. So many issues could have been avoided in this episode. Keep traveling like that, you're bound to find trouble!

the only thing extreme about the radio is IF it has G M R S service then it is a real radio if no it is just a radio with a half a watt transmitter used to keep kid's in line at a mile and mom is at mission control calling the shots. I am a licensed radio operater
