I remember this! Almost 40 years ago. I was 15 and It was my first concert. They lost power when the canons fired. They tried again but lost power the second time the canons fired. Brian Johnson threw his mic to the floor, they all turned and walked off stage, and the lights came on.

I always say I was born three decades too late…this is why. Or, more specifically, it’s because of Malcolm. The thought that he played his last gig when I was two years old annoys me to a point where ya ought to be very careful with ya words… :( This tour is, in my opinion, one of the top three best they ever did (the BIB and TRE tours obviously top anything, but to be honest, they peaked between those two). I still do think they can perform quite well (not _as_ well, though) if Angus’ fingers aren’t too arthritis…ified (or inflamed, as a non-stupid person’d say), and Brian gets his shit together, it might be worth a watch…I’d want to. The guy’s 76, but honestly, I don’t think it’s that great of an apology, look at Jagger, for example, he’s still killing it at 80. Maybe Jagger doesn’t smoke…and works out…and doesn’t force his voice in weird ways we never knew was possible, but Bri’s done it for forty years, he can manage it. Or am I in denial? Either way, I want to experience this before it’s over for good, and nobody but the boys knows when that is. If they make another album, which I’ve heard rumours of, maybe they’ll do a small tour of Europe? Or a farewell tour, like Elton John… Read the damn essay I just wrote. There is no summary…please?
