Non, c'est zéro, juste une parodie de Friday on my mind, un succès unique, que rien ne remplacera, surtout pas cette nullité de rock loupé !
@mrbubble1852 ай бұрын
It predated Friday On My Mind (FOMM). They had this "Beatlemania" phase in Australia before they packed up and moved to England, where they hit the ground running with FOMM, but the Beatles were already changing the ecosphere with "serious" works like Sgt. Pepper.

Largely unknown outside Australia back then ,but just as good as all the big bands of the era that are well known . Definitely worth a deep dive into their catalogue

You're crazy. We listened to all the Easybeats songs in Eastern Europe in the late 1960s and later. They were huge in Europe and also in North America.

I wonder what would have happened if their Aussie songwriting hadn't been looked down on by their label in London?
@VirreFriberg4 ай бұрын
George Young wouldn't have started writing songs with Harry Vanda, "Friday On My Mind" would've never been recorded and their career would most likely have stagnated upon their arrival in the UK.
@JamesWitham-cx3op3 ай бұрын
They could have been up there with the Beatles, Stones, Kinks, the Who and Small Face s, if they had released their Aussie hits to the world. Sad really. I saw them live in 1965, They were fantastic!
