This bootleg is at the wrong tape speed, pitch way is too high.

Largely unknown outside Australia back then ,but just as good as all the big bands of the era that are well known . Definitely worth a deep dive into their catalogue

You're crazy. We listened to all the Easybeats songs in Eastern Europe in the late 1960s and later. They were huge in Europe and also in North America.

I wonder what would have happened if their Aussie songwriting hadn't been looked down on by their label in London?
@VirreFribergАй бұрын
George Young wouldn't have started writing songs with Harry Vanda, "Friday On My Mind" would've never been recorded and their career would most likely have stagnated upon their arrival in the UK.
@JamesWitham-cx3opАй бұрын
They could have been up there with the Beatles, Stones, Kinks, the Who and Small Face s, if they had released their Aussie hits to the world. Sad really. I saw them live in 1965, They were fantastic!

I can't get let listen the song. Very power full, their simple riff has a similar "punch " at "You really got me", but the song, certainly is like a 1964 song of the Rolling Stones. I investigated that their 4 members only one lives. Texas the birth place of the garage rock.
Thanks - I forgot about this one. I have a better slow motion algorithm now but I'll leave it as it is. I like the sustain and fuzztone.

I had a horrible partial copy from a bootleg cassette of this - this is good pop-song formula but just a little syd-twisted in key-changes and lyrics. PERFECT cover for any teenaged 4-piece garage band !
@mrbubble1855 ай бұрын
The twist is there. The "oh no" sounds like the Lucifer Sam "oh no".
