None of these tests really aggravate my groin. The only thing that brings up the same pain is raising my leg sideways while rotating forward with my torso if you get what im saying. Its just really putting the weight on that pubis.

The increased load ist 100% right.. never played soccer seriously and only went to the gym. After starting playing soccer regularly I noticed these symptoms in the span of less than a year. At first like you said, weird aching feelings etc. and a tightness. After that it got worse and worse and I slways thought Ok its just a bit of muscle pain nothing to worry about

Does masturbating increase the pain in this injury? i do strengthening exercises it reduce the pain so much and if i masturbate once then i feel more pain in my adductor. Why?

Hello dr, I am 16 year old diagnosed with op. I have been doing the basic stuff like planks, side planks, glute bridges, stability etc and have been able to start jogging again but still not feeling comfortable even though I am towards the end of rehab so I wanted to ask you if you had a free section for basic exercises king of like kneesovertoes guy? I was dealing with knee pain before and his example videos had a big effect so I saved up to get his program

I have groin pain in the right side. I have had it for 20 plus years. Had right inguinal hernia 40 years ago and again this year, Had hip replacement that helped until the pain meds wore off. I have arthritis and have been diagnosed with lumbar stenosis. No one in the medical field seem to have an answer to this pain. In my own research I came across this and the one on hip labral tears. At 86 I am not looking for some type of surgery and have had some physical therapy which worked for the pinched nerve in my neck. That same PT involved some general strengthening in my glutes and lower abs. Had to stop because of the pain in my groin. I just reread my comment and came to the realization that this old body has been abused and just about used up. I will never never never give up so if you have something that you think will help me feel free to comment.

Hey Steve. Apologies for the late reply mate - beyond uploading these vids i dont really engage in Social media etc. We'd need to talk about realistic expectation related to function/what you want to achieve, but yes we should be able to get your body to a better/more functional state. I would need to test you - but your pelvic mechanics can definitely be the causative factor behind your labral tears/lumbar issues/hernias> isolated glute/core training is often inadequate in dealing with this. Please check out my website on www.theopclinic.com for further info on how i work, and shoot me and get in contact with me using the info there if you have any further questions etc. :)

There is nothing you can actively do to get rid of this injury. Some people naturally recover, some don't. A lot of people try to make money from other people's misery though, and give them false hope.

Sad comment on therapy in the U.S. is that I haven’t seen therapists “specialize” in any specific field - or at least they don’t state as such. Or maybe they just choose not to because they don’t want to box in their ability to treat ALL patients. Therapy “studios” here are like fast food places…you walk in, request someone who might have expertise in your individual problem…but that person is booked up for a year in advance…so how about seeing this other person, who is not an expert in your condition…because you are in severe pain and they will see you in 2 weeks. This is after you’ve waited 2-3 months for a doctor’s appointment….then at least a month for the tests and the diagnosis (maybe!) and the follow-up visit at the doctor’s office. It’s all very depressing and disheartening….I fear I have a long, painful journey ahead…..

I have had it six weeks. Yes’s inactivity makes it worse….I have a inward Elvis tilt and am doing things to get that in better place… if not abs, and hip flexors are pulling your pelvic bone both ways…and bone is bruised….very frustrating…. More mobility in your hips is needed….
