Great video thanks. Only problem is dermbox doesn't want to sell parts. They want it set to them for repair. They did quote a fair price but I don't want to deal with shpg shipping shipping

The scissors technique is very unorthodox Knipex or any alligator wrench will work fine.

Yes very! But those tools are a little more specialised. Most people probably have access to scissors.

Hi Kuwar. Its a 20mm outer diameter with a profile of 60 deg. Its a triangular cut thats run down a Helix of 5mm pitch, but the sides of the triangle is 4.2 mm 'pitch' and 3 mm depth of cut. My on-button was not working, and i had the first kickstarter model, which had some ghost draining on the board. Demer sent my a new updated version for free together with a new on-button. So replaced both. Super service to just ship it for free.

Yes, you could just get a new triple (in series) 18650 cell and solder that together with the connector.

Ehh?? No its not free to move? Only slide moves, and it moves with the screw, so you've to turn it like on the video.
