Hi, just checking at the output flange issue: Would it be possible to change the output flange from the Getrag to the ZF, so that a medium size guibo would fit? That way you could actually keep the original transmission. Am I right?

I did a manual 250g conversion in my e46, it makes a weird grinding resistance noise only while accelerating in 2nd gear not the typical grinding while going into gear. It shifts and drives perfectly fine would you happen to know what is wrong with it?

So not a great drift platform.. thx for showing us
@stefan0id4 ай бұрын
Yes it is, without an ecu tune they run weak tho, too little power for long drifts. I do own an 114i with 220hp, it rips let's say something about 20m of sideways movement before looping out or giving the corner up. Mine is lowered also so might affect a little.

I think he showed quite the opposite

I'm on a quest to make the 318ti drift with it's automatic gearbox. Still need to figure out the best way to disable automatic upshift. Once that's done, basically you can use 2nd gear most of the time, stay on the limiter if needed. I've seen it done with cars that are less powerful, heavier, and also auto gearbox. Like that Volvo 740 guy. So I know the pieces are all there. Unless the gearbox like, explodes. But if that happens, hey time for the manual swap!

Any one can tell which better getrag or zf ?
@jovancruz1077 ай бұрын
I see that you need to ground 2 wires the one from the gauge and the one that is going to the fuel pump
@jovancruz1077 ай бұрын
What happen if you don’t put the ground going to the fuel pump to the battery or chasis will still works ?

Ive seen in another video but havent verified my self,but the input shaft flange should be able to be swapped and you wont need to redrill the flange for the driveshaft!

Hello! I feel like i missed something it seems too easy haha. You managed to put in the differential and axles from the 350z? I plan to run a cd009 trans and need a longer diff. I didnt know the axles fit too. By the way my car is an s14. Also, what year 350z did you get the parts from?
