I learned of a nice tech: to do a run jump when you don't have room to do the usual run up, press and hold the walk button, press forward to start walking, immediately let go of walk and press and hold jump. Lara will do a running jump. :O

A good tip for fighting is to stay up close and use the roll to switch to the back of the enemy (when they turn around do it again) or try to run around them.
