You didn't take enough time. We spent 17 days in a Land Cruiser driving on our own. Saw just about everything. One of the best trips we have ever taken.

Thanks for sharing ! You start by feeling homesick on a normal vacation. I have trhe reverse of that, I miss Iceland when I'm not there and therefore I booked my 6th trip this summer.
