Beautiful story. Thank you for sharing! I was an international relationships major. Studied abroad in South America and it changed my life. Once I graduated, I also taught English in Spain for a year! Later I went on to do my Masters in Barcelona. I’ve been working in corporate since and it doesn’t feel like a fulfilling fit for me. I’m embarking on the FSO journey now and so excited for the possibilities!

Did you speak Fluent Spanish for Spain? I think your contract in Spain not being renewed was a blessing in disguised because the China opportunity was your next opportunity !!!

She is me!!!! I hate restrictions! I’ve been working full time for a year now and I’ve decided to go back to school for PMHNP and just work my PRNS. This just doesn’t work for me working full time. Being a travel nurse really changes your life and perspective

Thank you the video, I would maybe moreover highlight the importance of data analysis skills which are often left behind during studies of international relations for example. Intelligence authorities really look for multilingual people who are able to understand programming languages at least a little :)

Is there by any chance you could make a video in regards to the three main theories of IR? I find it very difficult to understand.

Thank you for the distinction. I find these two terms very interdependent with each other. It's funny to me because I'm an international relations student and my friend is a political violence student. I also have another friend in security studies. These three tend to interdependent with each other especially Political Science and International Relations.

Hi Mam i am an indian student want to pursue my career in intelligence and security studies in my country there are not courses related to this topic even if there are they are worth it can i do it in uk or usa? As a international student will i affect my job and opportunities and will i face difficulties to get a job as its classified and as a international student?

If you decide to study abroad, you must know that costs may be the first challenge for you. And as she said, having citizenship is mostly mandatory to work for the authorities of the countries, e.g. U.S. Citizenship for U.S. governmental jobs. I am studying in a field of security and if you don’t want to leave India try to find a graduate program in politics or international affairs and specialise yourself in those fields. Here in Germany at least we get a lot of opportunities to e.g. write a thesis in a security sensitive field including intelligence tho it‘s not mainly our study program!

Hi! I am a junior in high school and have been having trouble on deciding what career path to choose. I've recently become interested in being a diplomat, I love learning about the world, different languages, cultures, etc and love the idea of travelling, however the thought of constantly being on the move is scary to me. Is there a possible way to become a diplomat who doesn't have to move every few years, and do more short term travel?
