Why don’t you just use Zillow to expand your business I do. I have 146 accounts and I got a crap load from Zillow. It tells you when there’s a closing and when a new homeowner moves in go put your flyer on the door and more than likely they’re gonna call you. Hey can you give me a cleanup? I just bought the house. It’s better than walking house to house handing flyers out. That’s a waste.

What size trailer are you running? I’m sorry if you talked about that in another video. New to the channel. Enjoying the content. I will be 60 in February and I’ve been at my full time job for nearly 39 years. Trying to get started toward full time along with trying to do woodworking. Want to “retire” on the lawn care and woodworking. Thanks in advance for a reply!

@@mrmyblessednest1722 I run a 5x8 trailer. Hopefully next year I’ll be upgrading it where I can run two mowers. Best of luck! I definitely recommend it.

@ ok thanks! That’s the size trailer I’ve been looking at. I have someone is gifting me a very well maintained Toro 17-44 because they are replacing it with a new one for themselves.

@ is that a zero turn or a riding lawnmower? I run a 52 inch stand on mower on my 5x8 trailer. It fits but there is very little room left. A 5x8 trailer will work but I would say do a 6x10 if you can. For advertising Nextdoor has worked wonders for me
@mrmyblessednest172215 күн бұрын
@ it is a sit down zero turn. I was looking at the 5x8 trailers because I know that the mower he is giving me fits through the 5 foot doorway on his shed. I also currently have a 22” Toro recycler push mower

Hey! Great video. . My apologies in advance, and I am not trolling, but if you charged them $100 for the yard, you are actually really charging $50. . I use to operate like this until I realized that I was leaving a lot of money on the table by doing bi-weekly vs. weekly. Weekly is the way to go. . Keep pushing, great Job, & I hope this comment helps vs offends you.

This how I survive. Get out and be seen. Find work. You have to have grit & grind in you. I would keep garbage bags of grass clippings in my truck bed and ride around subdivisions near my home. The fact that i have garbage in my truck bed and my equipment in my trailer it looks as if im bussier than i really am. Believe it or not I’ve gotten 6 new mowing clients this week. You wont find work sitting in the house watching KZbin about people who can’t find work. I’m outside everyday. There is always work somewhere. You have to come down on your prices. Do work you wouldn’t normally do. Find a dirt connection. I get 1 yard mulch or dirt for $30. I do flower beds for $150. A flower bed will take me 1 hour. See what im sayin. You got grind. Now come march its strictly mowing.

❤ I'm loving that truck. best of luck . I'm on the fence between open trailer & closed . I follow another landscaper , called mack, he says easier to fuel up with open trl. so I don't know . I have open trl .. but your right , close trl you can advertise. (love watching your videos) you say what I think. so thank you for the confirmation. lol. slow months your right , visit once a month . I went slow myself .. did a few leaf clean up . . I retired . this is my side hustle. but I really like it . I put together a chevy pick up . but much older .. 89. chevy cheyenne. k2500 4x4. purchased it in south Carolina, $2500. dumped about 3into it. my son works for chevy .. in jersey. I love old trucks .. some I'll buy a new pick up .. not right now.. well best of luck, god bless . your looking good ..

I have this same Tacoma 4 cylinder it has 160K miles. It will easily make it 300k miles. I know the feeling of wanting a new work truck but I would rather work less then having a vehicle payment to worry about. I pull a 6x10 enclosed with 2 zero turns. It won't win any races but it starts every time!

Multiply your monthly note by how many months you financed it you’ll see that you pay quite a bit more than 800$. Loans like those work on compound interest not fixed rate interest. Big difference.

I’ve had a Timemaster since like 2013. Use it mowing lawns as a side gig. Sounds like you need to adjust the self propelled system. If it’s properly adjusted you shouldn’t have any trouble running that mower. That thing will walk itself and at top speed you have to jog to keep up with it.

@@dustinhernandez3584 I’ve used a walk behind before 36 inch. They are definitely cheaper but harder to maneuver. A few lawn care guys use them down here.
