He definitely had the panel already removed, and then popped one edge back to look like it was in, but it wasn't. Took quite a bit of work to get it off...luckily, after nearly 20 years, the plastic didn't snap. WHEw!!

How many pins were in that connector?1 or 2? because I've found 2 connectors under dash one in the middle next to the OB1conector and one on the driver's side just under the fuse box area.

Great video! Thank you. All those negative commenters belong at the dealership as this is as simple as a diy repair gets. Take the fan out with the wiring attached and remove it when the fan is sitting on the floor of the truck.

This is why I hate working on cars anymore, something as simple as a front turn signal could be simple and not require that you take the entire damp front end of the car apart.

WTF. Another leak point, more plastic! I thought the plastic was killing the turtles. Why not just an aluminum housing? Another way to fuck up a thermostat housing I guess. Maybe another recall when it starts to leak coolant. Fuck me!

My son just recently picked up this same unit. Do you need the special tool to collapse that caliper, or can you just use the old pad and C clamp to do that, or do the depressions just push it back just enough to clear the new pads? But great video very good instruction.
