It’s amazing how good this and mad forest sound in Castlevania 3, you can hear the background track going with the main in this version which was very hard to pull off on the nes’ five voices and it has the nes standard clean sound.

This should have been composed better, other big tracks like mad forest sound fine but this one sounds like there’s a half missing to the main melody.

Good music for doing frozen farm work IRL too. So much nostalgia

For so many years I never noticed that the melody repeats at a higher pitch before it actually loops. I think even some official remixes didn't catch that.

Gives off a ROCKY 2 vibe when him an Apollo are heading to the hospital in the beginning of the movie.

I used to listen to this on my old iphone when I would take the bus to work at the camp where I lived my farming dream, if only for a few hours each day. Nothing like chicken poop in your shoes and the sore back of a hard day’s work.

This reminds me so much of being a little kid with my brand-new PS2. First console game ever, and first game that wasn’t a point-and-click educational game. I was 7 in 2001. This game made my mom look for activities with farm animals. Went to a camp with goats, chickens, horses, and rabbits. I went there for years as a kid, grew into an adult, and at 16 became the head animal caretaker my first year employed. I spent years hatching chicks there, caring for a new lamb, and ensuring the health and safety of these animals, which I felt like my own. I even took time out of school to help when one sheep hit her time, and I held her head as she moved over the rainbow bridge. Now, at age 28, I am married and have crops growing in my yard. My husband promised me when we have the money for a house that I can farm it to my heart’s content. I will name my first chicken Cheep, after my first chicken in this game. This game unlocked a lifelong passion.
