Me too!!! Just came back to watch it after years. Hopefully Clutch is still flying. This video inspired me to get my pilots license and I have since flown 18 different Cirrus aircraft including SR20's and SR22's from G2 to currently a G6. This video is still my all-time favorite!

Anybody planning on doing this, add "(callsign) base, gear down" after you roll into the base turn, the controllers kinda expect that, they might ask for a gear check otherwise

I would recommend losing the XM radio during the descent and landing phase (sterile cockpit).

Question. What is the flair on the G-4? I know on the 747 is usually 5 degrees at 30 ft, of course this a totally different aircraft.

So you deem it important to subject the viewer to shitty music? Also: very late touchdown.

Thanks for the music, nothing more annoying to pilot, tower, flying than music. What makes people think it's an enhancement is beyond logic!

Wow!! I've learned a lot just watching this video. Thanks for posting, now I'll be able to show my pilot that I know somethings like power up engines 2 & 1, set the landing gear, apply parking brakes, gage the temps and etc.. lol!!!

Jeez, that must have taken a bit of practice. Excellent control, I love watching these types of landings. Nitpick: The music is distracting IMO, better without it.

Its like the difference between power on and power off stalls vs approach and departure stalls.. old school new school.. Im sticking to the old school mentality.. thanks just the same.. Pretty airplane.. hows it fly when you turn the master switch off?

Great video and interaction between pilots. Could you do a video of the checklist just before running the engines, showing in detail how to have this bird ready for taxi? Would be nice for someone like me that never had an opportunity to fly in a Gulfstream aircraft. Thanks

Yes he did use reverse. Not only can you clearly hear it, but you can see on the EICAS that he went to 1.3 EPR after aquiring the 6 lights.
