Mercedes-Benz LEDs are pointed too low. ( too low alignment) In real life they are much better than the dull halogens of the Mk VI Golf...

Why? Putting any blue lights on your car can and often does, lead to an instant ban and can, if they think you did it pretending to be emergency services, lead to jail time. They take it very, very seriously.
