Great footage. Thanks for sharing. Did you notice any mountain XC bikes there? I’m thinking of entering this race for 2025 and thinking my Blur would perform better than my C3 Cervelo.
@FThisFThatАй бұрын
@@keepingitreal6912 awesomeness! Might see you around ! At the @6:20 mark, there was a guy on an XC MTB and his feedback was that he ran out of gears pretty fast. There are fairly long stretches of road and gravel depending which length of route you choose however it’s still doable. I was signed up for the cento which ended up about 110km+ but they also had the 70km and 45km depending on your mood. If you C3 has tire clearance for 40mm gravel tires (at a minimum) or bigger, then I would suggest taking. If not, the MTB XC will still do well, I just might not bank on a podium. You will be much more comfortable and confident on that bike tho. Tbh, some of the better performing riders had gravel bikes with huge tire clearances which allowed them to use some knobbier MTB XC tires.

Now my brake pads, or the pistons that move them I suppose, are too far out and rub both sides of the rotor now.
