Don't really know any sub 8min B5s, so can't really tell you... I'd say it's possible with the right suspension setup, double the stock power and a really experienced driver...

Yes LD, really simple! You plug it onto the ICM, run a 12V wire and install a clutch switch and a wire on that...

Love the build but this is a terrible idea, not only because of the stands potentially falling but also because your transmission is mean to have resistance.. no resistance you'd have higher RPMS. Thats why propeller tests are basically never run at high speeds on dry dock

the k03 to k04, the mazda speed internals, 550 cc injec., fuel pump and a tune to run around 22psi...that will be a weapon, reliable and fun to drive, maybe an oil cooler too...

It only has about 180hp, I competed in a "up to 210hp". It spins a wheel when it lifts it mid corner, due to the stiffer rear swaybar.

I think this video catches better representation of what a modified car such as the i4 that's in the A4's sounds like backfiring. The burble pop tunes or exhaust deletes don't really sound like this.

@@3n3ly7m9 yeah, straight pipe is a no go on a stock 1.8T. I'll see how it sounds on my custom manifold for BW S257SX-E with an external open gate... I'd like it to sound like an 4G63T haha... Just whistling power through the exhaust and screaming through the WG 😅 In this video I've got a 3" DP, mid muffler delete and a stock rear muffler... A bit quiet but still enough flow for safe flat shifting...

@@mrAudisubaru google says 1.8T has 150kg. Nonetheless this not my way. Adding complexity to a track car just asks for reliability issues. I'm happy with the performance of the 1.8T. Also the aftermarket parts are widely available, besides this engines being easily accessible on junk yards. Just need to find some money and slap that BW S257SX-E on it.
