The thing about the Big Mac sauce is that it's one of the only "secret sauces" that doesn't contain ketchup. The recipe actually isn't even secret. Most secret sauces are mayo, ketchup, chopped pickles, and maybe some other small addition of seasonings. Big Mac sauce is mayo, coarse grain mustard, chopped pickles and onions, vinegar, and paprika, along with some salt, pepper, and sugar. I think McDonald's started making their Quarter Pounders from fresh beef that isn't frozen a few years ago. Their regular patties are still frozen. From what McDonald's says, it's exactly the same blend of 100% beef. I'm a fan of the Big Mac over the Quarter Pounder, but I agree. They're close. I feel like the Big Mac just needs a little more meat, one more of those little ⅒ pound patties per Big Mac is perfect for me.

The QP burger patties are fresh never frozen and I believe 100% beef. The big mac patties are the typical processed frozen patties you get on any mcdouble or normal cheeseburger at mcdonalds. Nice review man!
