Hi thank you so much for this tutorial I have been trying with different fem file but because of you I was able to perform it successfully. but I don't know why my lattice structure can be seen as lines instead of beams I don't know where the problem is coming from. Would you like to please look at it??

Wow! that is so easy, no need to wait for CAD data from designers. This saves 6 to 8 hrs of work and can be done in 10 minutes. create a line, move the mesh and do trade (design studies).

I have to study the airflow around an airplane, and I have to do the mesh in Hypermesh. The geometry is composed of a parallelepiped domain to which I made a Boolean operation to dig the airplane. I have successfully meshed the plane surface and domain walls, but I am unable to mesh the interior of the domain to create a tetra CFD mesh. How can I proceed, please?
@belugaengineering6588 Жыл бұрын
It's too complicated to explain. How to make tetramesh for cfd can get help from altair engineer.

@@belugaengineering6588 Thanks! I solved my problem by doing the job in Ansys directly. I had tried Hypermesh because initially Ansys was experiencing mesh errors. But Hypermesh let me figure out that the mesh could not be generated properly because the geometry was highly dirty. This was particularly the case along the trailing edges of aircraft wings. In addition, conventional geometry cleaning techniques were ineffective. Finally, after some investigation, the non-conforming tetrahedral mesh method was found to be the remedy for this anomaly. So I applied the nonconforming mesh method in Ansys and it worked.

Thank you!! The tutorials from Altair are fine, but they miss to explain certain simple things, like how to display the Solver Browser. Details like that really make it hard to follow along the tutorials.
