The Datnioides are magnificent fish. Very underrated. I think them and some giant Barbs and Tinfoils too IF they are of the red finned wild type would be even better. But ,to each his own taste as always.

Burt McAster your funny this video is over 8 years old when posted we were the first in ten world to import and sell black diamond so at the time it was very rare.

The arapaima was moved to a larger pond as it grew, Anyone saying this tank is overstocked has no idea what there talking about. There is plenty of room for these fish to swim and grow. Great tank and stock

4 k gallons would be 2 inch glass easy. For 4,000 gallons you are looking at- 190" x 72" x 65"

um kinda confused ariapima arowana and sting rays are tropical but bass and gars are in colder water so you probaly shouldnt mix them together

yea but gars are only found in america, europe and parts of asia ( the mongolian slit head gar are not tropical so I assumed that the bass may have been a colder climate

also Im not to sure how thick the glass is on that tank but if that arimpima ever tried to get out it is more than likely they could they are incredibly strong

+Brice Pugh gars were from the amazon and they also managed to thrive in the tropical are such as in southeast asia

yea i know that now, Im from an area in the states where we have coldwater gars like the marsh gar and the spelle gar I'm new to the hobby so just getting acclimated. ( sorry for that )

There is nothing rare in there that I can see. All very common fish in the aquarium hobby.

@@justinp3533 being able to afford and being rare are 2 very different things. some cichla can be very difficult to find and some rays as well but then again that also depends where in the world you're located. I'm located in a place where I can get wc vieja fenestratus , tropical gar and various parachromis. yet those would be kinda rare in a lot of other places. I've seen people pay thousands for true tropical gar while people here eat them.
