I am having to have my little love (dog) of my life for the past 10years, down tomorrow. Euthanasia may be humane but, it is utterly heartbreaking and heart wrenching. I FEEL SO HELPLESS and my nerves are shot over this. I AM DEVASTATED. I was looking for things I can do beforehand because, my head and heart are so shaken up…. I can’t THINK. I’m glad I found THIS VIDEO and I will be making this this evening for sure. I NEED prints of all 4 paws. Thank you for putting this out here for us!! 😢💔 🐶

Great video! And I know you joked about eating it, but a heads up for everyone with dogs, the amount of salt in that mixture could make them extremely ill, so make sure they don't even take a bite of it!

Very hard to fine beef liver now. The pet food industry got wise and you don’t really see the stuff in the supermarket anymore. Not even bones to make your bone broth. You got a buy meat with a bone on it or use your chicken bones or whatever it is you cook with bones to make bone broth. No it’s a no you buy dehydrated liver. You buy bone broth and they want a lot of money for it. It’s ridiculous and it was bones they were throwing away for many years and they don’t want your dog to be healthy anyway unless you pay a lot of money for it it’s like anything else. Anyway happy new year. Thank you for showing me so if I do see live or when I buy chicken with liver I’m gonna freeze them until I have enough to make them treats.

Try asking your local butcher outside of the supermarkets. You can always seek out those ingredients at Asia markets and grocery stores. Hope that helps.

There is no local butcher. It’s all supermarkets and big box stores. They’re selling their own broth which is disgusting because I did try it. It taste disgusting and they always have things in there that you can’t give your dog or sweeteners or it’s too high in sodium and so on and so forth.

Just found this video, our German Shepard boy is dying from bone cancer and we are saying goodbye tomorrow morning. So tonight we will be doing this with him. He has been such a good dog, loyal to a fault, a serious protector over our 4 kids. Kruz has been a wonderful family member and we have done all we could to fight this cancer off. But he is telling us that it’s his time.

Hearts are not organs, they’re considered meat. So when are you doing an 80 1010 diet you cannot add hearts to your organ percentage. They’re actually part of the 80% meat part.

Thank you for the video. I like to transition to a BARF diet. I'm currently feeding my dogs Pet Fresh human-grade cooked food. They have been on ot for about a month now. They do love it. It is rather expensive. Im averaging 50 dollars per week for my 2 dogs. A Husky, 38 pounds and a toy breed 11 pounds. Therefore, ive been debating whether to start cooking for them or go raw? What always worries me is that I'll be missing viable nutrients, that they need daily for a healty life. It just seems all to confusing. Also with home or cooked meals i worry where is the meat coming from and if its injected with hormones or antibiotics. Thank you for the information provided.

I would for sure recommend going all raw vs cooked. Way more nutritious that way. Meats have become much more expensive the last few years, so you can add some cooked plain rice to lower the costs, but it’s not ideal. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for your reply. I started them almost 2 weeks ago. I would like to prepare their food in a big tub and portion it out. But not sure how to do that and keep it perfectly balanced. I have a husky about 50 pounds and a toy breed about 10 pounds. Like you mentioned I've added some brown rice to their meals. Thank you, very informative video.

I just took in a stray pup about 6-8 month old and when he sees people he stops walking. Sometimes his front right arm/paw shakes and is untrusting of people / dogs. We took him to the dog park not to long ago and he was submissive to every dog that approached. I wasn’t expecting anger but he seemed scared of just about everything any advice?

I’ve been making bone broth for years. I use an instant pot high pressure cooker. I pressure cook the bones for one hour and then leave it on the warm setting for at least overnight. I use high cartilage bones like tendons and cow feet, but adding chicken, pork and fish are a great idea. Just avoid high mercury fish.

How much depends on how rich the broth is. If it’s dense like the one I made in this video, then a couple table spoons will do. It’s it’s a light broth, then more. It all depends on what ratio of water to bone/meat/fat used in the process.
