The CF-18 is still a very slick and a classy looking aircraft aircraft! My only concern is the integrity of it's airframe!!!

Any idea why the designer went for a forest green color rather than a darker green to match the color scheme of Vietnam-era planes? The dark green used looks more like a dark cyan green rather than a dark navy green. Nonetheless it's a beautiful plane and I love the scheme! Would love to see one in person one day.

Couldn't tell you why they chose the exact colours they did. Only that it is in honor of the F-105 Memphis Belle II (which was painted in honour of the original B-17 Memphis Belle. There's plenty of info you can look up on that, but I'm sure you've done that already.

Don't say that this jet is ugly and boring. It's the no.2 best classic after F-4. Looks like F-104 and F-5. Sometimes return to classics has the strongest result.

The engines are stronger than on F-14, the airframe is lighter than F-14, the frontal arrea is smaller than on F-15, the intake drag is smaller than on F-15. People don't understand it yet, but it's a bigger legend than F-16.
