BEST DAY EVER FOR ME AS A NLCC, the things you gets to do are outstanding, our leadership team is the best team I can ever have, if it wasn’t for the commanding officer and the officers leading me through hard times I wouldn’t be a NLCC PO2.

Is that some kind of JROTC or do we allow child soldiers now?

Certain civilian defense divisions are auxiliaries of the D.o.D; Sea Cadets are one of those and can be sent on designated missions such as this one. The missions are always domestic, and to even get deployed they must go through training and testing to become qualified. Civil Air Patrol performs similar tasks in rescuing downed aircraft.
