Jesus Christ gave his sinless life to buy us free from our deserved eternal penalty for our sins (hell) because we all have sinned e.g. lied and therefore deserved it. And if you think that it’s a fairy tale then I want to say you dear fellow that there are many proofs for the truthfulness of Christianity for example: fulfilled prophecies (e.g. crucifixion of Jesus which is historically proven, destruction of Tyros etc.) or wonders of Jesus for the physical noticing and spreading of which and the teachings behind them that Jesus is God, the disciples of Jesus got persecuted and killed and I think the most wouldn’t die for a „fairy tale” and a lot more. God in the Bible even promises that whoever TRULY searches him, will find him. It means that you can call on Jesus from your whole heart and he will let you find him. An example prayer for that which you must truly and humbly mean (and not for testing God), is: „Jesus, if you’re the true God then please take me to you, forever”. And it’s not badly meant but I recommend you, dear fellow not to hesitate with this topic because we all will die, we don’t know when and if Christianity is true, Jesus is the only one who can save us all from our deserved eternal penalty for our sins (hell) and you accept his gift by recognising with your mouth him as your Lord, believing in his death and resurrection for our sins and keeping his commandments because faith without works is dead (James 2:17). An example prayer for that which you like every other prayer must truly mean, is: „O dear Lord Jesus Christ, please forgive me for my sins, I believe that you died and resurrected for our sins, please come into my heart and don’t leave it, forever in Jesus Christ mighty name amen.” And if you got any questions dear fellow, feel free to ask Bible based sources which don’t take her out of context (not groups like „Jehovah’s eyewitnesses” etc. which deny the fundamentals of Christianity) or even God himself (e.g. in a prayer) and I also recommend you, dear fellow, to start reading your own Bible because God shows himself there (his will, advices, prophecies etc.). (Don’t be scared to ask the above mentioned Bible-based sources if you don’t understand something (don’t worry, it happens for example to me pretty often that I don’t understand something and) I wish you a good day and of course in general blessings from God ✝️❤️❤️
