Good i'view but sounds like it was shot in a room under Niagara falls.

too many key locks for my taste . I adjust while playing don't want anything fixed position especially on the cymbal tilt function . We are drummer's not mechanics " c'mon man" this is moving backwards not forwards

The bead in the middle isnt just cosmetic, its what made Ludwig have the unique sound

Is this the video that you get access to if you buy the Questlove starter kit…I assumed those were exclusive videos because you have to create an account with Ludwig and login to view them…

I saw you play drums in Fountaindale when I was in middle school - I believe you were in high school. I will never forget it - and now I understand why - I was watching one of the greats play drums!

Bun E Carlos is the reason I got into drumming. Cheap Trick is the reason I got into Rock N Roll.

My favorite Bun E. story: When James Iha, Taylor Hanson, and the late Adam Schlesinger were forming Tinted Windows, they were kicking around ideas as to whom they could enlist to play drums and decided it should be someone who played like Bun E. Carlos. Rather than do that, Adam asked the man himself, and he happily agreed.

Recently purchased the Venus piccolo. Can't stop playing it. Coated Remo Ambassador on batter head, Remo Diplomat snare side, and 30 strand Pure Sound wires. LOVE IT!

I feel personally, that Cheap Trick and Bun E Carlos separating, spelled the very end for the driving, rock spinal chord that was Cheap Trick. I sat learning the Budokan, and Dream Police album, lifting and placing the needle so much, that my albums sounded different at different places on the disc. I learned his fills, and his smooth, solid style I still chase. He made me a much superior drummer than I would have been had I not known his music. Also, his strangely cool, different style of look make it all amazing. So laid back, cigarette dangling barely on the lip while just slamming down the sticks to make the Trick WORK. I ONLY HOPE, we get a chance to see them together again.

I bought one and like it BUT the rod is really long. It may look cool but it's in the way of my crash cymbal so I have to back up the cymbal stand. I had it where I wanted it before I replaced my old hi-hat stand. 😡

What are the pros and cons of the progressive linkage? Is it like using a red cam on a Pearl kick pedal?

So for the top Hi hat that actually goes the the metal threaded area? There is no plastic piece that goes over the threading?

You're kidding. Right? Tommy Aldridre and before him Carmine Appice played the shuffle on two bass drums. And before them Louie Bellson kicked it around.

I've always wondered why cymbal like the ride and crash have a plastic tube to protect from the threads, but the hi-hat clutch does not.
