also when it comes down to Digimon VS Pokemon Digimon fans are refering to the Anime Over the games, and Pokemon fans the games over the Anime at least in most Instences. me i am a fan of boths but i do lean more on the Digimon side despite having more Pokemon games.

This is actually a great video. Elden Ring was my first, and after it I was obsessed and played ds1 rem. ds2 sotfs, and ds3 ff edition consecutively. I love these games so much. Used to be ass but now I'm way better after doing an Elden Ring RL1 run lmao

these games have ton of meaningless and outdated concepts and features and will never evolve by these big companies because they are not gamers. only fan made projects can change things to better. leave these outdated and political oriented products behind and move on.

I remember the 1st time fighting a Godskin Noble. Atop the divine tower in Liurnia to get Ranni's death thingy. He beat me like 20 times but I kept going back (once you lose your souls/runes Nd your at zero... you become a madman) I end up beating him because he did his Fatman sonic the hedgehog move and got stuck on top one of the many staircases and I just poked him with my bleed Halbert I got from killing Irina's dad till he died. It was cheap but fvck that guy.

You have so much luck, you start for probably the less good Digimon Word (what make you able to enjoy the game more than a loot of people), yes people consider the original Digimon Word (With mods, so it works properly) better than Next Order, and there is another game that dont need anything is better than the original but never get to this side of the globe, because Digimon its allergic to money or they just hate Digimon Word re:digitize.

I played Elden Ring after finishing DSR DS3 and Des Remake. Playing these games made realize that no doubt these games are made hard and for good reason. But everything has a decent solution as well. I found out that Str/Dex works the best for me with bow for ranged option. I played the Elden Ring with same mindset. I found claymore but pretty soon found out that Bloodhound Fanf even works better for mt playstyle since my dodge rolls can be wayward and not timed properly. So I just used Bloodhound finesse but only the first part. For a skill on a ultra great sword it was pretty quick and the evasive step took me out of trouble and gave me time to regain my composure. I got Malenia and Mohg both with Mimic Tear help before it was nerfed but even after nerf the Str/Dex mimic tear is still hefty enough that it allows to keep the aggro off of me for some time while i can heal and reasses the situation. Took out many bosses on first attempts mid game, died to many early game and late game countless times but I was able to push through.

glad i watched this cuz I'm currently playing through Digimon Survive with some friends, and Cybersleuth by myself, and being that Next Order is the last Switch digimon game i would need to get, good to know what the fuck i'd be getting myself into beforehand

Videogames are definitely Digimon's weak point.

This is a pretty casual and uneducated take of digimon as a whole. It really only applies to the "world" sub-franchise of digimon and most of the complaints are only really relative to the first world game. in next order, after your first digimon's life cycle, you gain access to evolution information EXTREMELY quickly. Not just that but less than halfway into the game you're basically handed every single item to outright choose whatever evolution you want no questions asked. If you want to complain about a digimon player's sanity, then bringing up that there's never been a truly good digimon game would be a better place to start. Even the best digimon games are 7/10 at best and only TWO are even the same genre as pokemon in terms of playstyle. Comparing it to pokemon is the reason digimon never took off to begin with, outside of having "mon" in the title the franchises are not comparable. The "world" sub franchise is just a console version of tamogachis, which digimon were originally spinoffs of

The "sh*t" Digimon are a punishment for players no matter what, but still, Scumon and Numemon can still access to Digimon that were better at the time. Like imagine the first V-Pets, you have a Metal Greymon and your friend has a Metal Mamemon, and then a guy comes with a Monzaemon, the evolution only possible through Numemon. Guess who wins. If your answer wasn't the poop slime inside a teddy bear costume, then you are wrong, because Monzaemon has better chaces of winning against the two and Mugendramon.

Honestly I think this whole video is a massive overexaggeration, yes digimon games can be grindy but only if you're looking for something very, ultra specific, they are rpgs after all. There is no insanity in that, it's just playing a game and looking for somehting cool... You should have definitively also mentioned the origins of digimon as v-pets/tamagotchi to make it more clear the whole raising monster part and also the separation between digimon story games and digimon world games. For example, I'm playing through Digimon Survive right now and I am not finding it either grindy or insane.

Every game is designed to be beaten.. especially when the director has so many ideas he wants to show you. Its easier for you to beat any of the Souls games or all of them than to grind any esports games towards a rank higher gold (or similar ELO level )

That'a why digimon world is my favorite game of all time. It never feels boring. Gives me the sense of wonder and discovery every time I play it despite knowing the game fully. Evolution is cryptic enough to keep that wonder alive. It's well populated and each screen is memorable with cool ans unique pre rendered backgrounds. I come back to this game more often than any other single player game. I usually get bored or sleepy with rpg at some point despite being my favorite genre. Because no game has gotten as good as the original digimon world. Not even other digimon world games. I did enjoy the arena battles in Re digitize but I didn't care for the story or the exploration there. I'm about to start next order to see if that one really went back to square one but has you train 2 digimon instead. Here is to hoping it's at least close to the original but I have read otherwise.

got malenia phase 2 quite quickly in a few attempts only to struggle for the next fucking hour to not die to her phase 2 starting move (beaten her after 1 hour of painful attempts tho and questioning my gear spell flask and spirit summon choices) so yeah definetly insanity

Honestly the title fits with almost every Digimon game ever. The worst Digimon game has got to be the Online MMO, Digimon Masters Online. P2W, grindy, full of macros, corrupted staff. Holy shit The Digimon Story DS games are also pretty grindy and certain areas are just such hard mazes where you enounter a battle every 2nd step… Digimon World you already explained greatly with Digimon World Next Order. Digimon Super Rumble(Not Rumble Arena that one is actually more chill) it‘s also a bit the same as DMO in that its pretty p2w and grindy aswell. Along with very bad optimization. I honestly only ever enjoyed the Digimon Story games and Digimon Masters Online in its early days. The side project of Digimon like Rumble Arena were also nice to play but compared to Pokemon I‘d really have to choose the Pokemon over Digimon(Only for side project). Pokepark and the Pokemon Rumble series was just way nicer. Would be cool if Digimon ever did something in the lines of a Pokepark game. Though I could never imagine a Digimon game being chill. Edit: I forgot about Digimon Battle Online. Also p2w especially on global release.
