Wife had this done in 2012 at Fuda Cancer Hospital. I’m glad there are more options around the world now but saddened that the West still largely neglects Cryo.

Hmmm, it’s very sad how some Doctors are over expensive, I inquired how much the treatment was and he is charging $25,000 - $30,000 when u can travel to India, Turkey, China and get the same treatment for a fraction of the cost. It’s Horrible how they make money out of people’s illness!!!

I live in the United States. Cryoablation is not allowed for breast cancer in the United States. I had to get cryoablation done in Mexico City and pay out of pocket. IceCure needs to petition the F.D.A. to allow cryoablation to be legal and recognized by health insurance companies.

Wonderful news for women. Not terribly invasive and not disfiguring. You would think women’s groups and female breast surgeons would be championing this for women but it is hard to find information and the FDA is slow to approve it . A lumpectomy or mastectomy is big bucks…. I know that is cynical but loss of revenue to cancer hospitals is not something that medical groups want to embrace.
