Sorry but when the legacies of Carson and Letterman still exist, Conan will always be nothing but an also-ran. He’s funny but he’s definitely never impacted our culture like the other two have.

Right, because David Letterman never existed to show Conan everything he knew, did, copied and followed. Only one man revolutionized the medium p, turned it on its head and became an American icon being the weirdest show on air. It’s the guy Conan copied from head to toe.

It’s so satisfying to see the guys like Conan and norm who marched to their on beat and didn’t compromise gain success and loyalty in the end. They’re probably not at the top of the financial leaderboard - but I bet they have 0 regrets. They’re all time greats. lol nobodies ever going to make one of these videos about Leno, Fallon, Kimmel, Meyers etc. and they all know it too.

this was the peak of my childhood cable watching in the philippines, this aired and this was so fun to witness along with the shows around the same era. good times
