Lol I have a Kimber 3in wish I had known about the Rossi first. Believe me I like it. But 2 357s would be nice for less than my Kimber. I and my wife would have one and some change in my pocket for ammo. She likes my Kimber but maybe I can talk her into the Rossi. Lol I'll try if not I'll take the Rossi and give her the Kimber. Just a thought

Hello. Nice vid! Is the slide as smooth to rack as the regular USP 45??

3" 357 Magnum revolvers are IMO the ideal size of which I have a few favorites. A S&W 66, Colt Python Combat Elite, Manurhin MR-73 Gendemarie and my. absolute favorite the Korth Mongoose with an extra fitted 9mm cylinder. But there are so many good choices for every budget choosing one can be mins boggling. The S&W 686+, the Colt King Cobra and newer Viper are also good examples of what's available. You could do several videos on this subject and start some interesting conversations. Keep them coming. On the revolvers in this video my choice would be the Ruger LCR with its light weight and outstanding trigger.

I have a Charles Daly HP clone. While it never bit me, there was a red mark that was appearing on the web of my hand from the hammer. I got a hammer from Cylinder and Slide. It is shorter from front to back, making the hitting of your skin less likely, and the edges of the hammer are all relieved/rounded to make pinching less likely. I think as a minimum all the HiPower builders should do something about the hammer (SA did). Also, I removed the magazine safety and the trigger went from long and gritty to short and crisp. {!-{>

The rattle from the LCR caused by the transfer bar drove me nuts and I sold it. Will not buy another solely because of that, you can hear in the video when you handle it. For the price it shouldn’t. Taurus also owns Rossi.

Good video. I was going to buy the Taurus 605, then saw the Rossi RP63, which seemed comparable, but with an extra bonus round. I couldn't find any in my area to try out, so I ended up buying the Rossi online and having it shipped to my FFL. I wish I could say I like it, but I really don't. There is a serious and frustrating design flaw with this gun, where the space between the back of the trigger guard and the grip is cut in, so your hand and fingers sits up higher on the grip behind the trigger guard. The problem is that the space between the trigger guard and grip is too tight, with your finger wedged in there, and every time you fire the gun, it smashes the knuckle on your finger which is very painful and doesn't make for a very good shooting experience. After 6 or so rounds I have a swollen and busted knuckle, so it's to the point where I don't even want to shoot it anymore. After doing some research, I've heard this same complaint from lots of other people too, and wish I knew about it before I purchased it. I've tried looking into getting different grips for it, hopefully ones that would close up that gap behind the trigger guard to be more like the Taurus and others, but the grips are proprietary and there aren't any 3rd parties making them. Aside from this problem, it is not a bad gun; well made and accurate. I am now looking to trade it in for a Taurus 605 sometime soon.

RP63 also offers the extra round totaling 6. I have had my Rossi RP63 for about three weeks and love it. Trigger is great and the overall gun is great. Especially for the price point.

The presence of a pic rail doesn’t really make a gun a home defense capable. We all say that when there’s a pic rail. Back when this 220 compact was new to market, pic rails were the bees knees and people swooned at them.

Great range guns that can be used and abused. Lookers have to be babied and stay at home mostly so the Tisas is worth every penny.

The only gun related benefit to live in Germany. You can buy every HK that’s still in production. They are very available here.

Just got mine for $319 and free shipping! Came with extra set of black plastic grips. For $20 I ordered a set of walnut grips direct from Tisas USA. First trip to the range, zero malfunctions with multiple ammos. The safety was super stiff until I worked it a hundred or so times. Now it functions as smooth as my old, (2008ish) Para-Ordinance SSP which is my favorite. Would be as accurate as my Para if the trigger was as crisp. For out of the box performance, I'm thrilled!
