is getting the conversion kit necessary? could you essentially just go to local part store and get struts/shocks/springs for a Standard suspension?
@MegaMilesBen
@MegaMilesBen Күн бұрын
@dansobral7 thats something youd want to check out on forums and such or maybe even the dealer. This is a clients car. I would imagine so but it probably wont sit as high. Once youve deleted the air suspension light and compressor, you can pretty much do what you want to the suspension.

i second this. i’ve had the driver and ultra torque for about 2 years. very good tools for the price and warranty. i’ve dropped my driver in a tire dunk tank and it still works. i also accidentally let my ultra torque sit out in the sun for about 4 hours and it still worked being extremely hot. these tools are legit. no complaints at all.

I wish all it took was penetrating oil on my Range Rover 2014 L405. Drive it up north in salt and only a torch will loosen it, and even then, not easily. I cut off the end plug and put a 12 point wrench over it to avoid rounding all the corners on the sensor. Interestingly, the new NGK sensor I purchased already had an anti-seize compound on the threads. Nice.
@MegaMilesBen
@MegaMilesBen 4 күн бұрын
@m.cooper1854 yea, Ive dealt with sone pretty bad ones too. I actually ripped an exhaust pipe once trying to get one out. Most of the new ones will come with antisieze on the threads, if not I definately recommend using some.

Thanks again
@MegaMilesBen
@MegaMilesBen 9 күн бұрын
@journeymindset2054 that back one can be a pain and if the gasket slips when youre installing it, it wont sit right or seal up. If its leaking that bad, I personally would pull it, find the exact leak and do it again. Youre sure its the valve cover gasket leaking and not something else back there? You can get a good view of the backside from under the car. Follow the oil up till it stops and thats where your leak is.

@MegaMilesBen
@MegaMilesBen 10 күн бұрын
@watchncarry9593 DetroitAxle is good but of course not dealership quality. Most products they have come with a 10 year or lifetime waranty. I dont recommend drilled and slotted rotors for a daily driver. You can hear the pads going over the holes and it annoys some people, like myself. I recommend coated rotors. PowerStop.com is who I use for brakes and recommend to all my clients. Yes, should be the same.
