Per ITF rules, the cases of Novak, Nalbandian, and Shapovalov were all unintentional but resulted from anger after losing a point, leading to their disqualification. Nalbandian kicked the referee’s knee out of anger after losing the point. Shapovalov threw the ball at the referee out of anger after losing the point. Djokovic also hit the referee with the ball out of anger after losing the point. In all three cases, even if unintentional, the actions were driven by anger. In Zizou's case, it was ruled as unintentional, reckless, grotesque, and completely silly, I agree-but still unintentional and not out of anger. Thus, that’s what the Carlos Ramos based his decision on and gave a warning. These ITF rules underscore that while unintentional actions may result in minimal penalties or warnings, deliberate actions, especially those stemming from anger or frustration, are treated more severely, often leading to point penalties or disqualification. After the doctor examined Cristian and informed the umpire that he was fit to continue playing, Cristian still refused to play, insisting that Zizou should be disqualified-though it was less about his fitness to continue and more about seeking a DQ. As a result, Cristian was disqualified for refusing to play. You find it unfair, I agree with you since Garin got bumped it. But the ones to complain are ITF rules.

But there are other youtubers saying that Garin is South American and that he must have been exaggerating because south american soccer/football players are known to exaggerate. I’m not talking about race, I’m talking about how our latin culture is perceived. And it’s hard for me to believe that this would still have happened if we had a more powerful federation behind us such as the europeans or americans.

I mean, lets say I arrive 9am and I want to queue for the next day tickets, not the ones for that day (obviously) but the line for that day would still be there

Lines are separate but queue cards won't be handed out until much later in the day. Sometimes queue cards aren't handed out until around 3pm for the following day! You have to make sure you stay in the queue or make queue friends who can contact you if you pop out for a quick walk or rest break.

When you mention that "shadow": to be honest, he has a huge fanbase and internet haters are not the real world. His relationship with Sophia now is publicly celebrated (not from them) by showing their cute handshake an all of that. The case is settled, he was always innocent by law, it should not be a topic anymore, and for most people it is not. Why is no one bringing up Sinner doping allegations then? Is this not a more relevant topic?

@@tennisweeklypodcast Agree. And no one will ever know what really happened, but i was surprised at the lack of scepticism from most tennis media/experts. The explanation as well as the priority handling of this case is pretty suspect. And it is naive to say "he is a humble guy, he cannot be doping", or "the amount was too small", when we know there is microdosing, masking agents etc. and we know that in every sport, top athletes will and have used doping. Not saying he did, but how weird do these explanations for "contamination" even get...

Yes. Our view is that it is ridiculous to find him at 'no fault'. At the lower end of the responsibility would be 'no considerable fault' and if that is the verdict in April a ban is required.

Hi, do you sometimes consider that Zverevs diabetes could play a role in how he sometimes show up or did not show up? Also, thanks for not trashing Zverev (like haters expect). I think he has matured and showed great humilty and realness over the last years, and I know he touched a lot of people with his vulnerability and his speeches as well. So I appreciate when podcasters dont just hate on him and call him mentally weak, as to me, he is incredibly resilient and has overcome a lot in his career, most of all a horrific injury that could have ended his career.

@@tennisweeklypodcast Why is this never mentiond though when his performances are judged? It could be a big factor and explain why he sometimes looks flat or has these sudden drops in his level during matches (he used to suddenly just give sets away), or also why he might struggle with nerves sometimes, seeing how blood sugar fluctuations can make you super jittery or unfocused. I think all factors shuld be mentioned and explained to viewers and taken into account when looking at a match.
