The grip trigger doesn't work for me, it focuses but it doesn't end up taking the photo, why can it be?

Is there not photos to be had nearer home, why the hell do they have to go to exotic places. It,s a bit like going for a test drive in a ford fiesta only when you get there they take you for a drive in a Porsche. No matter how good the camera is, they still go and edit them, are the cameras that bad, thought with all the modern technol9gy that they put into them now. You would think that the photo would need no editing. A little piece of imperfection makes a picture more interesting, find one piece of imperfection and it makes you want to find another, therefore making you look at the picture harder. You will never find perfection if you do then you might aswell sit at a computer and compose a picture without the need for the camera, so all that technology that the camera manufacturers put into their cameras seems to be a waste of time, even for professional photographers.

There is no autofocus. So, focus before you start or use manual focus. Otherwise, it's an informative video.

I think this is a truly exelent instructional video, unfortunately, I have not been able to execute your instructions. I can't get the mirror to lock up during exposure. I have the 5dsr, an exelent sturdy Gitzo tripod with a No 2 head, even a loup just like yours and just bought a Canon RC 6 remote specially for this purpose, I suspect the RC 6 is the problem, one must set the self timer in the camera in order for it to work, this seems to disable the mirror lock up. I suspect a cable release is necesary in order to be able to keep the mirror locked up. Is this the problem? Or is it possibly something else I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
