I am getting ready to build a Banshee from an empty case up and just trying to get some clear direction on what parts to use to keep as much low-end torque and still make decent HP gains. I do not plan to drag race so sacrificing low end torque for top end is not the goal of my build. It is beginning to look like I should not stroke the motor thus my pursuit to see some dyno charts of before and after mods specifically stroking the motors 4 mils. i.e. building out a 421cc. I am currently looking for a used reasonably priced chassis/frame unbent for a Banshee build. Used Banshees are off the chain here costing in the $16,000 range I assume since you say your Banshee is making 100 HP that you have a dyno sheet showing where the power is being made. After a quick glance through your videos I have not been able to find the dyno video. Do you have a video explaining major mods like displacement i.e. stroker size, what heads are you running and are they ported, what carbs are you running, pipes, etc..

In 93 I bought myself an xr650l these bikes don’t like to be reved too high . Made some changes early on magnetic drain bolt, lost the air pump and the muffler for a super trapp disc system did the Dave’s mods to the stock cv carb changed pilot& main 58 160 modified the airbox adjusted the sag I’m 175 lbs so I figured & extra 8-10 for gear . It is tall in seat height & it is a bit heavy feeling on there front still have stock tank but I took the scoops off they gave me a very unstable feeling when u run it up the hiway with adjustments to gearing from stock 15/45 to 14/49 I lost maybe 8-10 mph on top I’m gonna put a 15 fritzco on front again. I like the tire combo I’ve settled on dot knobby stock is junk I like metzler on front and Michelin 130/80 18 rear .1st owner bought new bike runs up to95 mph & gets there quick!

Most "rebuilders" never touch the heads. They dont replace valves, valve springs or valve guides.

That 100hp banshee is NASTY ,still the best quad I've seen on KZbin EVER, so crispy she can pop up in any gear ⚙️ no troubles ,anyone who's hammered over a field on a 50hp cr500 can imagine 100hp on a quad is the ultimate RUSH 💪🇺🇸👍🍒

I love how none of these new quads will outrun a good ol banshee!! They shouldn't have ever quit making them!! Edited to add i know his bike was a 2007 honda but even the newer ones all brands don't keep up with a banshee with just couple mods or even stock!

You should put a rubber “0” ring on the kicker to get rid of that rattle I also have a 472 cub and a mint stock bike with legit ten hours on it I put rubber o ring’s on the kickers thin ones and the rattle is gone.

one of my all-time fav 4whlr vids is when I first discovered your thoroughly built Banshee (I wanna say it was built by like Redline or Trinity if those names are even right off the top of my head) and you were just doing pulls by a field and with no seat/butt bump or clutch dump or anything just ROLLING into the band's peak she'd point you to blue sky, ON DIRT😂..and then people wanna argue with you about it not having a 100 hp, which its AT LEAST got not to mention I believe a modded trans, shift star, clutch, etc. if I remember correctly..that thing is a beast, I'd just have to get me some "pre-cut" race fenders up front other than that she's perfect for just how I'd have one built too if I ever made it past full bolt-on, which I haven't yet on my '01 black and white and my '04 red frame custom white/silver flake/burgundy flake (the latter was the most recent one I owned and the '01 was my late teens - early 20s)..but I had to sell it because of a truly unforeseen tragic legal battle within my own p.o.s. family that cost me almost EVERYTHING, even had to sell my baby that is to me like your O.G. Banshee probably is to you, my '85 Honda 350X, and that one hurt waaay worse the Bamshee but neither were pleasant to see go especially when its over your own family's shallowness and was completely avoidable..anyways, that's my rant/therapy session just email me what I owe ya for the mental health assistance lmao, keep it up tho I live vicariously through watching your vids, it brings my babies back to me a little inside 😅
