I did always find it weird that the Sorceress never took credit in the areas Hunter disappeared from so you knew to go back.

ya it can really throw you if you don't know what the area is supposed to be. I think there is even a bug with one of the eggs because of that

It really is. The only thing I wish they had done better is let you 100% a world without needing to come back for a character or skill since it seems like I'm just rushing to whatever objective I was missing
