Why are people complaning about the surgeons examining the tumor? Like these professionals studied years in their field, they might also have tons of experience. They know what they're doing, most of us don't have the position to question their work. They must have a reason to do this well beyond our understanding.

Because most of these people are mistaking that pile of bloody gauze and whatever other tissue is sitting there, with the clamps still attached from when they performed the removal, for the patient supposedly laying there still open from the surgery.
