I’ve checked out playbook. Congratulations! It sounds like a good system. I like the idea of being able to move things around and being able to move journaling pages to other areas. I can see that being very useful since sometimes it does take some journaling to get your planning ideas going. I do have a system that works for me at the moment but I will keep playbook in mind just in case things change. I would like to add too (shyly) that your arms are so impressive and have inspired me to continue lifting weights. I’ve made good progress Building muscle over a couple of years now. But had fallen out of it just recently. Going to get back into it 😊

Thanks for your comment! I appreciate your feedback. Personally, I find value from it, even it if was from a placebo effect. I'm actually on my second. My battery died after three years and I went a week without it and opted to pay the $300 to replace it. I also have had excellent customer service. Any time I have had issues with the app or device, they get back to me within 24 hours. I'm sorry you have had a different experience.
@ziohack Жыл бұрын
@@MarceyRader good to know. Thank you for your feedback. I was hoping for at least a placebo effect. Nothing really significant measurable with the Oura. And unfortunately my experience with the customer service has been different. I don’t want to sell it for ethical reason. I will gift it to a friend to do some further testing. Considering the hardware and how is made the price is IMHO too high. The same service could be done with an app on a smartwatch

Thank you for your review. I think I’d also feel restricted by this Panda system. But I do love Rocketbook. It’s taken me some time to adjust but it’s working for me at the moment. I have the Fusion, my children use the Core for homeschooling which has no templates just dot/grid and lined. I’m hoping for the Everday Planner. I’d suggest for anyone considering buying any of the Rocketbook planners or notebooks to look them up on their website on a laptop or Pc to have a big view on the templates and see if they would work for you.
@MarceyRader Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. I agree a big view on the templates is a must to see what the prompts are. I actually just launched my own playbook - Powered Path™ Playbook - www.helloraderco.com/playbook because I couldn't find exactly what I needed with prompts, writing space, etc. It's not erasable paper (not affordable for a small business), but we are having loads of fun and results with it!

@MarceyRader3 жыл бұрын
It's very easy to put on. It's just a velcro strap that you can wrap around your wrist or ankle. Most of the time, I use the app to start the device so I can choose from the different settings. I use the green buttons at night if I wake up in the middle of the night and want to restart it. I hold them both down at the same time for about 5-6 seconds and it starts up at the last setting that I used. This way I don't have to turn on my phone.

I consider the Bullet Journal more productivity focused. The 5-min journal isn't about what you are going to get done or what you have done in a day, it's focused on gratitude, wins, and cool things that happened that day.

I’m very concerned that you did not acknowledge all the app reviews both on Apple and google for major problems with connectivity and firmware updates. If the app doesn’t work well, the device is almost worthless. You also didn’t quite the price which should always be part of a good-quality, objective review.
@MarceyRader3 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry you were disappointed in the review. My purpose was to share my experience and my experience has been very positive. I haven't had any issues with connectivity and firmware. I'm sorry other people have. So for me, it has been great and is not worthless at all since I have had no problems. As for the price, you are right, I did miss stating that on the review. Thank you for the reminder for next time.
@rhyothemisprinceps16173 жыл бұрын
What bothers me is they cite clinical research on their website but the study has not been published in a peer reviewed journal. I'm debating between Doppel and Apollo Neuro. Doppel published their trial results in Nature; they have a lower price point and you can use the device without being connected to your phone - so you can avoid unnecessary EMF, if that is a concern. You can also adjust the vibration frequencies, which may or may not be useful; I don't know if non-responders will be helped by tweaking the frequencies or not - though it seems people who are outliers wrt to height might be affected (resting heart rate is inversely correlated with height). People report problems with the Doppel's strap and battery life. The Apollo Neuro looks a lot sturdier. It would be nice to have studies showing whether there are any improvements in HRV over several weeks use for either device. Have you measured your HRV during or after use or have you noticed any trends over time?
@MarceyRader3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Great questions! trial results - can't speak to that. I would contact them directly. EMF - what I like about it is that once you turn it on, you can turn your Bluetooth off. The sleep mode goes for two hours. I start it up and then shut my phone completely down. Sturdiness - I don't feel like it is flimsy or not made well. Both my husband and I have had no problems. I track my HRV daily and I use the Apollo daily. It's hard to say if using it improves it when I start to get lower since I can't be my own control. I mainly use it at night, after working out, and about an hour before bed.

Hi Marcey! I'm sorry this is a little belated and I hope you wouldn't mind it terribly -- I have really sensitive skin but live in a warm climate, and I'm nervous if the net-like texture of the Breeze fabric may feel just a bit rough and chafing. If it isn't too much trouble, I'm wondering if it's at all smooth to the touch, and if you would say that Fleece is considerably heavier than Breeze? Thank you so much!
@MarceyRader3 жыл бұрын
Fleece is heavier than the Breeze, but I wore it in the summer for about three years before buying the Breeze. I wouldn't consider it hot to wear. The Breeze isn't rough at all. I think you would be fine. I consider myself having sensitive skin as well.

Thanks for sharing! Stay positive and be cautious. I live in Texas and we are currently under a stay-at-home order. Only “essential” businesses are allowed to stay open. Most people are staying in their houses, except for grocery runs, exercising outside and minor errands. Many of my neighbors sit out in their yards grilling and drinking daily. I currently have a daily regimen of two workouts. I go for a bike ride early in the morning and I do a crossfit bodyweight routine in the evening indoors. I watch at least two movies daily and I find two topics daily I research online which uses quite a few hours. I have no problems using up time without boredom. I have a rolling list of household chores/projects as a filler. I also manage to get in 10,000 steps daily with no problem. My eating schedule is the same as usual. I do 18:6 intermittent fasting daily with keto. I have two well balanced meals daily over six hours. I avoid fruit (except berries), starches, grains, sugar, soy, refined carbs and processed foods. I get my groceries delivered. I keep it simple so I do not have to over think it. Keep sharing and talking. Cheers!
