I wanted to share what has been working for my daughter(6 years old). I have been giving her micro dose of bacopa powder in tea at nights and a micro dose of L theanine in water in the mornings before school. Once a week, I give her fenugreek tea( boiled seeds) to help gut issues. Verbally improved, behavior improved tremendously in just 5 days. Check with doctor and try this. I guarantee significant improvement. thank me later.

I sometimes put my noise cancelling headphones on transparency mode and it helps me to hear voices better than before :) Of course it's also noise cancelling. BlackPods has a good AirPods clone. There are also clones of BlackPods. (I have autism) Edit: Context is that autistic people sometimes have trouble parsing human voices out from background noise. It's not an inability to hear it's the inability of the nervous system to percieve the sound. The eardrums work fine but the nervous system cannot process the information.

Can y'all review the language for the title and description of this video. Using "minority" is not specific and can be viewed as offensive. For instance, putting "A black parent's" perspective would help black people searching for support find this video better as well.

Thanks to everyone taking their time to read this testimony on how my son was saved from Autism. He was diagnosed four years ago, and he's just 6, I have tried several treatments and medications, nothing was working out, this got me frustrated and depressed. I kept praying and finally God answered my prayers when someone from youtube introduced me to this doctor from his home country and gave me his contact details. I called and explained my son's condition after which I made an order for his herbal remedy, he asked for my address and the next day I got a tracking number for a parcel sent to me through DHL and after four days I received my order. It was a liquid herbal medicine and a letter containing the instructions on how to use the herbs, I called him again to confirm and the next morning I started giving my son the herbs as instructed and after one week I noticed great improvement on my son and I continued until the herbs got finished and everything lasted for just one month and now my son is totally free from Autism, he can now talk clearly, behave normally and has no more seizures. Look at levels of anxiety. Children with higher levels of restrictive and repetitive behavior tend to have higher levels of anxiety. Combine that with the possibility that parents with higher incomes may have higher stress and parents with ssd are likely to have high anxiety as well causing higher stress, well it would explain your findings.

'Head Lag' as 'a red flag for autism and language and / or social developmental delays'. I saw this video through a presentation from Lucy Miller (spdstar.org). The lowering of the head when raising to sitting is described as 'Poor postural control'. Is that right? Let's look at the context. There is a lot of movement in the room and there is busy talk (0.09). Then, with hardly any announcement, the child is touched, hands grabbed, addressed and pulled up like an object. During the maneuver that follows, the child always turns his eyes away. When we look at this scene from Porges' polyvagal theory, it has nothing to do with 'postural control' but with 'traumatic slackening'. The arms are stiff and the hands in fists. Then the researcher pulls the child up again (0.26) and the child appears to be resisting. The child resists, but that is not noticed. Then the child is shamelessly kissed on the head. Please note that this research takes place in the context of early diagnosis of autism. And Lucy Miller includes it in her presentation. And so the child is called "over-stimulated," while it is actually simply resisted. And this is just one example.

This is relevant. As someone who has 2+ kids with varying degrees of ASD and the oldest being 16 and youngest 9. I'm a firm believer in better to be safe than sorry. If it turns out you have a child with ASD and you caught it early the outcome is more successful than the latter. It becomes extremely difficult the longer they go undiagnosed. And if it turns out your child isn't then that's great at least you didn't leave it to chance or assumed he may be 'introverted'.

I suspected my daughter was autistic before she was one, and everyone told me I was crazy. they continued to write me off until she was three. she was 4 and a half by the time we were able to get her into therapy. She is almost 6, non verbal, and moderately autistic. The earlier you can get into therapy, the better off your child will be. If you believe something is off, get a second opinion when someone says "it's too soon"

I hate it when people automatically assume that people with autism are "unaffectionate" or "in their own world" just because they don't make eye contact or like hugs. Those things can be physically painful for us. There are plenty of other ways to show affection and make a social connection that don't involve touching someone or staring them in the eye. Autistic people are more aware and affection then people think, we just express it in different ways

Thank you for this. This video has been so much more helpful to me than checklists or videos of specific symptoms in isolation. You explained really well what differentiated the ASD from normal development.

The people commenting saying this video is providing misinformation.. my son behaved EXACTLY like the autistic children in this video at that age and I had the same ignorant mindset as those commenting like it’s perfectly fine to act like that. I kept saying ‘Maybe he’s an introvert’, ‘maybe he’s just independent and wants to be left alone’, ‘he does things his own way’, ‘he seems normal to me’. I ended up taking him out of the nursery he was in as they began to suspect something was wrong and began the process of diagnosis. I was in denial. A few years later he’d gotten worse. Then at 4 I finally accepted the help from his school and low and behold my son was diagnosed with ASD by the NHS. Now at 6 he still does all these things, but it’s even more pronounced, he’s having an extremely hard time and I can’t help but think if things would of been easier if I was more open to trying to understand what was happening earlier. Parents who suspect your child is doing some of the things your seeing in the video, seek professional help do not be ignorant, ignore the comments saying this behaviour is normal, be safe rather than sorry.
