Its day of the dead and inspiring mexican popular culture Book of life tells about a boy who fell in love with his childhood best friend since childhood and wanted to be a musician to be with her. But his father bans him to stop doing music and made him a bullfighter instead of a musician. Coco tells a story of boy similar to that of book of life but his entire family and ancestors banned music because one family member have abandoned a wife and child(a.k.a great grandma of the boy). The young lad wanted to bring music to the family and wanted his great grandma to remembering her favorite music that she listens since the last time her father left and never came back without knowing her father was un-alive by poison(a.k.a the great great grandfather of the boy). She wanted music to be brought back to the family and carrying out the legacy to celebrating day of the dead or its mexican culture They are not the same but their stories are similar to each other that relates to guitar and music and singing within the movie
