@09:40 - foot foul given...only happened because KOR gave a push off balance so she stepped into ball path...watch as she makes the tackle - right hand off stick, pushes GB player. Umpire couldn't have had a better view of it. ignored/missed. Rules clearly state, no physical interference (now 9.3), and must not make tackle unless positioned to do so without body contact (9.13)... take your pick. Woeful accuracy from umpire again. Not bothering to go through it some more. Umpiring has gone down hill since 2012...so so poor now.

HAHA. @06:14...only takes 11 seconds of game play for the ump to make a shocker decision considering how close and clear vantage available. GB tackle is legit and all ball, KOR attempts stick block, misses the shield and hits GB stick after tackle is made, KOR then completes the obstruction with her body shielding/denying legit play at ball. Incredibly poor start and sets tone from umpires straight away.

@29:44 - obstruction by the ball carrier. Entitled to move off in any direction, EXCEPT BODILY into an opponent. Paid no attention, body checked arriving tackler. Commentator correct to say he was "a little unlucky" - polite way of commenting the umpires are again shockingly poor for this level of hockey.

@29:19...clear shove with forearm as he winds up for shot. Another huge, game impacting miss from umpires. Clear PS. Intentional on player in possession in circle. Standard is horrible from umps.

Aus 1st goal shouldn't have been allowed - 13.3(g) infringement from defenders, sure, but left running attacker foot is on circle line, handle of castle stopper stick is grounded inside the circle. Both are breaches of 13.3(e). Ump has failed to run the PC to rules and PC procedure resulting in a goal that is illegitimate. Poor.

@17:42 Aus # 3 - causes dispossession with body contact (rule 9.13)...then it pops out of tackle onto Aus#3 right foot - horribly - the umpire raises whistle to his mouth, raises arm for Germany free hit, then watches Aus come away with possession and does nothing. Know this was a long time ago - but umpiring standards are still the same - really, really poor.

@15:20 Poor PS decision. PC for sure. PS call needs to have been for an intentional on player in possession, or deny probable goal. Loose ball - no one player in possession. Rules that out. Defender make a legitimate attempt at the ball but it's just out of reach, the slap shot attempt causes the huge clack which sells the umpire down the river. To rule probable goal when GK is squarely in front of the pending slap shot is tricky too. I'm a believer in proper award of PS, and umpires can be too weak not giving them, But this wasn't one.

@09:22 - save was made, secondary action intentionally off back line. This is why there're are new notes in FIH rules cycle - umpires being encouraged to go to PC for intentional off back line much more stringently. This one was obvious.

GK moving feet before stroke was taken. Goal would've stood, the save/miss means it's a retake.

@03:15 - maybe travels 2-3 metres maximum. Ham defender has broken the circle before that though, so PC is the right outcome. Certainly an absolute shambles to allow the play into the circle and give a goal. Really poor.

@01:56... orange shoe'd defender from Beeston - breach of 13.3(g). Stood on goal line/in field of play at PC set up. Rule applies as early break...sent to halfway - PC retaken, 1 less defender. Ump fails to pick it - long corner instead. Potential direct material impact on game. Poor.

Every PC defended by Hamstead had defenders breaching 13.3(g), and should then have defended a retake with 1 less player. Umpires I thought had a decent enough game, lost some control on tackling and bizarrely refused cards for multiple shoves when precedent was set with first green. Also - I've never known an aerial 5m encroachment to be accidental - certainly at this level. So when a defender rushes an aerial receiver and doesn't yield the 5m, when it's in the 23m, surely HAS to be a PC by very definition. (Intentional offence in 23m)?? other than that and some clear misses of mistraping onto own body/feet, pretty good game. 13.3 application getting ignored/poorly applied all the way up to international level. FIH need to address it, or do away with the rules that apply to PC procedures.

@02:34 - "grounded and under control" is the requirement before 5m yield needn't apply. Not 1st touch bringing it out of the air, good yield is then broken too early and possession is robbed off defender receiving the aerial because of the early encroachment within 5m not picked up by umpire. No goal, really there either...

@00:04... No goal. 13.3(g) rule break - far attacker - leaning on stick inside circle (line is inside). Injector sent back to half way, PC retaken (should have been the outcome).

@02:13 - clear to see the ball never leaves circle at PC for Surb. 2nd goal. Ump looking right at it. No wonder Beeston are straight to the ump pointing to the top of circle after the goal.
