exact same issue here. for me it's later stages of the game crashing more while first like 10-20 hours for some reason are more stable

The DLSS problem has been existed for a while now. I recorded the issue in patch 1.0.1 and 1.0.3. Before 1.0.3, you can avoid frame capping by toggling DLSS upscaling quality, but now it doesn't work anymore.

For some reason today after Sirca story quest...it crash

On a side note the frame gen from AMD on this game is super good. No ghosting nearly no input lag it’s insane how good amds frame gen is its almost as good as dlss and its software based

great video I have an i5 10400 16 ram and 3050 8 GB. I used FG + DLSS (quality) and it works fine, but after 25 hours of playing it started to break. I read that other players were getting an error when putting FSR + DLSS Can I set TSR + FG(FSR) in high graphics? I understand that TSR is more demanding than DLSS but I'm not sure

I use DLSS+ FG Ultra performance and I get upto 100FPS in somew areas

Agree with the sentiments in this video and will be awesome once they get A Life 2.0 working properly. From my understanding though, it’s not meant to work in a bubble around the player but essentially the zone lives and breathes by itself irrespective of the player or where they are? That’s my understanding of the original Stalker game anyway, that the zone with all its various NPCs continues to simulate the world even when you’re on the other side of it.

The game is great when it works but…when IT DOESNT??? When it doesn’t work it’s so badly broken the lagging every few 30 seconds waiting for everything to load into screen like my weapon. I can be taking damage and trying to heal but the game won’t let me cause everything is still loading in. So I’m just sitting there taking damage and then by the time the game decides to work I die right after. Or my personal favorite is when I’m trying to switch weapons and it freaking freezes and takes like a good minute to unfreeze so I can switch oh well look at that it took a f$&king hour to allow me to switch by the time I could I get killed.

pause is fine, but the fact you can respawn at checkpoint out of a boss fight in HC is lame

Why have you encountered 3 bloodsuckers, I only got one, but I encountered a lot of soldiers on the road, 3 boars, also one emission when attempting 1st time, still tough as hell, so I had to return to a shelter then attempted 2nd time, then only 1 bloodsucker there, is this random to everybody?

Btw, the REAL A-Life back in the original game was a script that handles where the AI events are happening and keeping track of them via a BACKGROUND SCRIPT....no rendering was involved. They only render the events within the distance of the player. How the heck would you think computers back in the early 2000s can handle A-Life if it always render 10000 miles away from player??? Because it doesn't render anything, it is just a SCRIPT that runs in the background and just move the AI (x,y) coordinate around the map and what the AI "encountered"...if that script is coded correctly, it is no more than 10 MB. What we have in Stalker 2 is a spawn generator NOT a-life. When the CEO is telling you "oh man expanding the radius would lag so much" he is lying to your face about A-Life because at the end of the day it is just a spawn generator NOT A-Life. I'm just so tired of explaining this simple technical process to a bunch of people that doesn't have the brain capacity to understand this core gameplay feature and then claims that they are Stalker fans.
