I want to learn to do this. I make Graphgans,( Quilts with pictures on them made from yarn) I design my own patterns, and crochet them by hand. I want to do them in a way that I will get them done faster. Do you have a tutorial how to build this loom you are using, how to tie looks like white yarn or thread or rope to it? I use bobbins,- clothespins, or spools, to wrap my yarn around. I like to make my quilts with alot of color.

This is a beautiful film about tapestry weaving. I know what you mean about : you only weave, what should be woven. At the beginning I sometimes did not do that and then I was disappointed by the result. Now I know better and I see or feel before, what is worth the many hours of weaving. I hope, this is understandable, I struggle with my english. 😆

what kind of weaving frame is that, that you are using?

The screw thread tensioning as seen at 6:16 and 7:07 minutes is an "adjustable formwork prop". A look like this can be easily made using formwork props, pieces steel tube and pipe clamps.
