Good questions 1/ if the ink ran out I think it'd still work by still detecting the pressure and appearing in the app, but obviously not on your paper. But I can't be sure of that. 2/ 'recommend mines' ??? Not sure what you mean there. 3/ No pencil lead. 4/ With no phone/tablet you write on the paper and at the end of a page you tap the button at the top of the unit. Everything is saved internally. Once you connect your phone/tablet it'll download the data from the unit. No, you're English is fine. I just didn't get what you meant with the 'recommend mines' bit.

@@tartagrillade9000 I don't think so, no. But, to be honest, the sensitivity between pen and paper isn't much. Too light and you get no line at all.

Yes, it only works with the Huion app. You can run the app on your phone. I just ran it on the app on my tablet to make it easier to see in the video.

It's a special pen, but the refills are just normal refills. You get about 4 refills with it (from memory).

It's a special pen that uses Bluetooth to connect to the leather cover. You write on regular paper using the pen and the writings appear in the phone/tablet app. If you have the app open when you're writing then you'll see it in real time in the app.

No eraser. It's regular ink on paper. You could maybe erase a mistake once it's in the app though. Not sure.

Yep, works no problem. I sometimes doodle on it while sitting up in bed. I still use it. It's handy for making videos of drawings that I've done and for saving stuff you've written down.

Yes, you can. In the video I'm using an android based Amazon tablet, and with Linux Mint on my laptop. I also use it with android on my mobile phone. I can't speak for Apple products though.

I think it's just Bluetooth from the pad to the phone/tablet. To go into drawing tablet mode you can use cable or Bluetooth. Note: cable only for Linux users (like me).

I like Linux too (Ubunu here 😄) but in fact I plan to buy this smart notebook to teach my students and I only use my Samsung tablet (Android) to do that, with ’’google meet’’. The goal is to talk to the student AT THE SAME TIME I show him/her the formulas I’m writing (yes, I confess I’m a mathematics teacher), using the ’’share your screen’’ button google meet offers. I’ve read several times the notebook description and I find it very confusing about the ways it connects to tablet/computer. They say that the graphic tablet mode works with a computer (on linux or windows) but...does it work with an android device too ? Or is the ’’notebook’’ mode the only way available with a tablet/phone ? Thank you in advance if you can answer, I promise it’s my last question !☺

@@piafou63 if you're using it as a notepad with the ink refill and paper then it's a Bluetooth connection to the android tablet. If you're using it as a digital drawing tablet with the plastic refill and no paper then you can use cable/Bluetooth to connect it to a PC/laptop. Feel free to ask any other questions.

Can't remember for sure after all these years, but it was a rattle can primer of a mid-tone. Probably a mid-grey or mid-beige colour.

Yes, it's A5 size. I don't really have a preferred paper make. I use anything from thick drawing paper to ordinary cheap printer paper.

​@@RonnieTucker1 so you can use any other paper than Huion's one? If so then what is proprietary? Is there something I have to keep on replacing or can I use anything else, like another pen? In a nutshell once I have bought it I don't need to go back to the website to replace anything over time.

@@PPV0077 The book cover and the pen is where all the magic happens. You must use the supplied pen shell, but as far as I'm aware the refills for the pen are standard issue. But even then, you get about 4 or 5 refills with it. You can use any paper with it. I just tested it quickly by drawing on a piece of kitchen roll on top of the supplied pad which was closed.

@@PPV0077 I mostly use it for drawing/sketching with. One thing I've noticed though: if the app is NOT open then it won't record your strokes. The app MUST be open (and not in the background) to have it play back or make a video.

@@greatindiansaint4997 you can use any paper with the Note. You get 4 ink refills and 2 plastic nibs with the book. But I believe you can use regular ink refills with it.

You'd be as well buying a jar of fountain pen ink to refill from. Much easier to just keep things intact and pull the ink in via the plunger. Inky fingers is the sign of someone who loves a good fountain pen. It's like a badge of honour. 😄

From what I remember (from re-watching the video) I think it was A3 drawing paper and the brush was from a sumi-e set I got from Amazon. In theory you could use watercolour brushes though.

In solitaire mode, the Parasite AI will choose the side that awards it the most disease cubes. Only roll a die To break a tie. Additionally parasites take away mutation cubes, not directly from the organism.

39:34 the dead Parasite doesn't return cubes back to your mutation. The mutation and its cube return to the soup.
